Actually my grand father was from Bangladesh- Barisaal. During the partition we came and settled in South Kolkata. Bengali culture is all about love, emotions, food and adda. I am foodie by birth and started cooking from my childhood. My favourite chef was my Mother but learned lots from Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Cooking is my love my passion. I am an independent person and my parents helped me to fly.

I have been to lot many cities Bangalore, Chennai, Bhuveneshwar, Pune and Mumbai. I fallen in love with Amchi Mumbai. Married and now here with my husband Asif and daughter. My in-laws are from Rajkot. They are equally close to me as my mother and family. I follow my dreams and always Live for today. Just for a lough my first email id was Ushri_Bindas ...haha hope am able to say who am I !!! "Work brought me to Amchi Mumbai in 2006 and fall in love with the city. I met Asif here and East & West got married in 2008. Earlier 2006 I was in Pune for 1 year before that in Bangalore and Kolkata. I am a professional Marketting & BD person. Love to talk , basically adda is my speciality along with ""Juto Shelai to Chandi path""."It may sound cliche but my mother and my grand-ma are the ones from whom I have learnt all about flavours and taste but it was Chef Sanjeev Kapur whose recipes and style I followed and horned my cooking skills. I would wait for his famous culinary show Khaana Khazana that used to air on Sundays and my entire family would wait for me to make something interesting after watching it. Those were the daysssss.... Bengali cuisine is my all time favourite but over the years I have developed a liking for continental and chinese cuisines also. My Bengali specialities are Fish Paturi, Bhape Fish, Pulau, Mutton Kosha, Luchi and Aaloor Dum, Potol-er Dorma, Chicken Kosha to Chicken Stew, Kathi Roll, Bengali Biryani, Chaap, Mutton Boti Kabab, Bel Pepper Rice with Mushroom sauce and Grilled Chicken etc.Travelling, dancing, watching movies and series..and Cha e pe charcha I love. Did I mention Shopping….:-)I am a thorough professional and equally dedicated towards my job and my family. I have been rewarded as best performer for my professional laurels. Love and respect of my family and collegues is what keeps me motivated and I truly consider them as my true asset.
