ay human diet. Prior to establishment of an organized sector in India, like all other cities in Baroda also the demand for milk was very high while the supply was less early. The local traders supplied the milk and they used to exploit both the consumers as well as producers. Hence a need was felt to establish an exploitation free milk reception and supply system with the aim to relive the milk producer from the exploitation of private milk vendors and to give a remunerative price of milk and supply good quality of milk to the citizen of Vadodara City the need was converted in to the reality by forming the Baroda District Cooperative Milk Producers' Union Ltd. From its conception, Baroda Dairy is continuously and consistently giving it's services to the 'Sanskarinagari'.
