Our shop is a legacy handed down to us by our father, Late Shri Govind Kumar Baranwal, famously known in the city as Guddu Bhaiya. He, what people say, actually build it from scratch, he started his journey with 5 Kg of 4 dry fruits taken on credit. He, with his persistence, hard work and most importantly honesty, honesty with his work, with his customers, with his efforts in what he did, establis
hed a store in the heart of the biggest dry fruits market in the whole state. Like all other parents in India, he had a dream to make his childrens' life better than what he had and because of that he never included us in his work and told us to study so to make a better life with fewer hardships than he had endured. We, me and my brother, never got a chance to know the world in which he worked, in which he earned the daily bread for the family and now, that he has passed away, we are left with what he loved the most, his shop. So, we decided to keep the shop alive and continue the business but we are naive to this whole business thing which at first, we thought it was a disadvantage to us but with time we realized it is a good thing, as we don't need to follow the ways the whole market operate. We, as end customers, saw that people have to pay inordinately while purchasing dry fruits or spices from online stores and even brick and mortar stores. Sellers are charging high prices for products that are not that high and the consumers also don't get the information about the products they buy. So, we decided to fill this gap by letting the consumer know about the products they will be buying from us that too, at the right price.
