Nordic Wasabi We grow fresh wasabi sustainably in Iceland. Our wasabi is used at high end restaurants and in gourmet retail all over Europe.

Jurt Hydroponics is an Icelandic company that was established to produce quality hard to grow plants using advanced technologies and sustainable resources. Our growing process is powered by renewable energy, nurtured with pure Icelandic water, and is continually being improved upon using modern engineering methods. Jurt Hydroponics specializes in ecologically sustainable food production using greenhouse hydroponics; the process of growing plants without soil, using mineral nutrient solutions in water solvent where the roots are either exposed or supported by an inert medium, such as perlite or gravel. We only use organic growing mediums.
