Last night's northern lights were incredible.

Dancing colourful, magical
Everything you might possibly want from seeing them for the first time.

For many guests of spirit farm this was just that.

An unforgettable experience, coupled with the cold embrace of the night.

The sign before was nice, but i lacked the craziness and colour that spirit farm is known for.

Well with just a bit of paint, 5 min of spare time I created a masterpiece.

Tomorrow a possible touch up and done lacquer and voila, it will be a sign for centuries to come 🤣🤣🤣

Sunsets at spirit farm be like 👌👌👌

Considering how much rain there was today, i would have never expected it to be so perfect right now.

It's incredible what 30min can do on this crazy floating volcanic rock.

I like the idea that for something beautiful to happen, things need to go through turbulence and or destruction.

I mean the universe was created with a quick explosion, with matter, energy being flung around in all directions, creating what we now as our own existence.

Even we as people have an incredible ability to learn from turbulence within our lives and I like to believe that when you feel hard times, it's because you are about to discover something, that will make your life more beautiful.

The destruction of the old milk house signifies an end but at the same time it signifies a beginning for construction, imagination and in the future, huge smiles that will be experienced within this space.

To the future and to beauty that surrounds us on a daily basis.

If you have a chance to see mother nature's fireworks, then make sure to check out this volcano 🌋

It's incredibly breathtaking and you can end up sitting starring mesmerized for hours.

It's been a while since I posted.

Unfortunately, the daily posting took a toll on me, and social exhaustion crept up.

The idea of posting something online was a dreaded experience.

But in all honesty, everyday I open my window I'm welcomed by natures beauty and it inspires me to share it just not with the pressure of doing it everyday.

And also with models like Kári and Emma how could I not share their gorgeous faces. They are just some of the most incredible creatures, always happy and always ready for an adventure.

I feel Emma and Kári are kind of like pinky and the brain. Always coming up with ways to escape their enclosure. Just this week I had to fix the fence 4 times.

They are honestly geniuses.

As for me, I had but more importantly I needed time away from spirit farm.
Enjoying Iceland with my family and truth be told, sleeping in til late with no plans for the day has been one of the best experiences for me this year.

Self care is amazing.

Anyways, I'm in a better headspace now, so hopefully I actually share what's happening here at the farm more often.

The pictures are a bit edited, but there is just no easy way to capture the actual beauty of the sunsets.

The colours are indescribable, and photos never do it justice.

Summer is warm in Iceland... This year's high has been 14c.

As you can see the horses are struggling... Or maybe actually just loving the heat.

I can imagine that after one of the craziest winners ever these horses are in paradise.

Tons of fresh grass, perfect warmth, sunshine for a wonderful tan.

Ah even the horses are loving life now than ever

During winter there are northern lights, but something people usually don't speak about are the breathe taking sunsets that happen in Iceland during summer.

I didn't edit this photo, this is actually as close as it gets to being a real representation of what it looked like a couple nights ago.

Totally gorgeous, I was hoping that the horses would show up, hopefully they do in the next couple of days. 😊😊😊

Either way, another reason why you should visit Iceland in summer 😊😊😊

Discussing which type of grass tastes better.

Supposedly the one with yellow flowers is really good.

But also the green grass is also very nice.

The meeting was brief but interesting
