He’s currently in training with and we are super happy about his development 🙌
Our four year old stallions usually are in training during the winter so we can get to know them. In the spring time it’s individually decided if they are mentally and physically ready to go to a breeding show.

Advanced Equine Orthopedics & Biomechanics Clinic

We are excited to host a two-day advanced clinic with internationally renowned equine biomechanics and orthopedics expert Dr. Jenny Hagen. This intensive program is perfect for veterinarians, farriers, equine therapists, trainers, and dedicated horse owners looking to deepen their knowledge of equine movement, soundness, rehabilitation, and hoof–body connections.

Day 1 — Friday, 1 May 2026
Time: 9:00–17:00
Morning Lectures
* The Upper Musculoskeletal System�How neck, back, and pelvis influence movement quality and hoof shape
* Functional Assessment & Pain Recognition�Identifying subtle signs of discomfort
* Crookedness, Laterality & Lameness�Understanding key differences and improving diagnostic accuracy
Lunch Break
Afternoon Practical Session
Hands-on assessment with 1–2 horses, including:
* Functional evaluation
* Creation of individualized training, treatment, and shoeing plans

Day 2 — Saturday, 2 May 2026
Time: 9:00–17:30
Morning Session
* Functional Limb Dissection (9:00–10:30)
* Tendon Injuries (11:00–12:30)�Causes, biomechanics, healing, and management strategies
Lunch Break
Afternoon Session
* Motoric Development & Motion Physiology (13:30–14:30)
* Practical Demonstration & Training (15:00–17:30)�Mobilisation, myofascial techniques, and core-stability exercises

About Dr. Jenny Hagen
Dr. Jenny Hagen is a veterinarian, scientist, and certified farrier with specializations in equine orthopedics, rehabilitation, and training. As former Associate Professor at Leipzig University, she founded the Equine Biomechanics and Orthopedics research group and has led groundbreaking studies on trimming, shoeing, and training effects on gait and limb biomechanics.
She brings 20+ years of experience from clinical practice, research, farriery, and international teaching.
