Castello di Monsanto è una delle cantine più rappresentative della tradizione del Chianti Classico. Dal 1962 la famiglia Bianchi si è dedicata con passione alla coltivazione del Sangiovese nella zona di Barberino Val d’Elsa, riuscendo ad esaltarne l’eleganza e la longevità. La proprietà consta oggi di 210 ettari totali, di cui 72 a vigneto, 15 a oliveto e la restante parte mantenuta a bosco. Nella

cantina originale del 1740 situata sotto al Castello e alla quale si accede attraverso una lunga galleria sotterranea di circa trecento metri completamente scavata a mano nel “galestro”, è custodito il prezioso archivio storico delle vecchie annate di Chianti Classico Riserva prodotte in azienda dal 1962 in poi.
