La nostra cantina si trova tra due : -Pezzole e , vicine fisicamente ma nettamente diverse per carattere. Siamo su marne fossili di Sant'Agata: terreni calcarei con argilla e sabbia, in perfetto equilibrio tra ritenzione idrica e drenaggio.
📍Bergera-Pezzole (più sabbiosa) dà vini più aperti ed eleganti, con tannini più morbidi.
📍San Ponzio (più argillosa) conferisce struttura, profondità e tensione.
Due espressioni dello stesso terroir, a pochi metri di distanza.

🇬🇧Our winery lies between two MGAs: Bergera-Pezzole and San Ponzio, close in distance, but clearly different in character. We are on Sant’Agata Fossili marls: calcareous soils with clay and sand, balancing water retention and drainage.
📍Bergera-Pezzole (more sand) gives more open, elegant wines with softer tannins.
📍San Ponzio (more clay) brings structure, depth and tension.
Two expressions of the same terroir, just a few meters apart.

In mezzo ai filari lasciamo crescere il : favino, trifoglio e senape. Serve a dare azoto in modo naturale, tenere il suolo vivo e migliorare la struttura del terreno.

A un certo punto si interra e diventa nutrimento per le nostre viti!

🇬🇧Nebbiolo is starting again. We let green manure grow between the rows: fava beans, clover, and mustard. It provides natural nitrogen, keeps the soil alive, and improves its structure. At a certain point, it's buried and becomes nourishment for our vines!
