Taking digital payments closer to Jaffna’s vibrant business community, LankaPay carried out a two-day town-storming promotion on 5th and 6th August as part of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka’s regional digital payment initiative, with the participation of several partner financial institutions.

The SDB Bank team was on the ground engaging with merchants, sharing insights on digital payment acceptance and encouraging businesses to embrace the convenience of LANKAQR.

We are pleased to welcome RDB Quick App to the JustPay Mobile network.

Over 6 million RDB customers, along with customers of any bank, can now simply download the RDB Quick App and enjoy seamless, secure, real-time digital payments at their fingertips.

JustPay Mobile offers interoperability, enabling users to download any JustPay-enabled app of their choice, link their existing bank account, and make day-to-day transactions conveniently, securely, and in real time.

We are also delighted to welcome a rural-focused bank such as RDB to the JustPay Mobile network, further strengthening our commitment to advancing financial inclusion and expanding access to digital payments across Sri Lanka.

LankaPay, in collaboration with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Sri Lanka Customs, and the Revenue Administration Reform and Modernisation Bureau (RARMB), successfully conducted an Awareness Session on Digital Signing and Paperless Customs Procedures on 18th August 2026 at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Auditorium.

The session brought together key stakeholders to explore the role of digital signing and paperless processes in streamlining customs procedures, enhancing efficiency, and accelerating Sri Lanka’s digital transformation journey.

The event was graced by Mr. Seevali Arukgoda, Senior Additional Secretary to the President, and Mr. Shiran Fernando, Secretary General / CEO of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, together with senior officials from RARMB, Sri Lanka Customs and LankaPay.

Through collaborative initiatives such as these, LankaPay continues to support the adoption of secure and efficient digital solutions that contribute to a more connected and paperless Sri Lanka.
