In the quiet valley, surrounded by rivers, and golden hills,
Natural Farming Center (NFC) grows as a living space of learning, simplicity, and connection with nature. Founded on the philosophy of do-nothing farming inspired by Masanobu Fukuoka,
NFC is more than a farm it’s a place where soil and soul are cultivated together. Here, seeds sprout freely, trees gro

w wild, and people rediscover what it means to live in harmony with the rhythms of the Earth. We welcome volunteers, students, and travelers from all over the world
to learn natural farming, soil regeneration, seedball reforestation, and community living. The farm also collaborates with social projects, hosting foster youth,
and connects with partners worldwide to spread ecological education and solidarity. Every gesture in Shizen is a meditation — sowing, harvesting, cooking, planting trees,
all guided by the principle of non-interference and natural balance. Through workshops, Erasmus+ projects, and reforestation actions,
we build bridges between education, ecology, and inner transformation.

🌱 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been helping us build the greenhouse.

With each passing day, it becomes clearer how important it is to be able to produce our own seedlings from standard, non-hybrid, non-GMO seeds. This greenhouse is a significant step in that direction, allowing us to care for the next generation of plants from the very beginning and strengthen even more the farm's autonomy.

A special thank you goes to our dear and generous friend who donated this greenhouse to the farm. Your gift is helping to create something that will nourish this place for many years to come.

We are deeply grateful to all the beautiful people who have contributed their time, energy, skills, and enthusiasm to this project. What is taking shape here is the result of many hands working together with a shared vision.

İtalya'da yüzyıllardır süregelen bir geleneğe göre, kantaron çiçekleri tam bugünlerde toplanır ve zeytinyağının içinde bekletilerek kantaron yağı hazırlanır.

Güneşin en güçlü olduğu dönemde açan bu altın sarısı çiçeklerin, cilt için pek çok faydalı özelliğe sahip olduğuna inanılır. Bu yüzden birçok aile her yıl San Giovanni gününde kantaron toplamayı ihmal etmez.

Biz de bugün çiçekleri topladık ve yağın içine bıraktık. Önümüzdeki haftalarda güneşin etkisiyle yağ yavaş yavaş o güzel kırmızı rengini alacak. ☀️🌿

I sought You in the temples of the sky,

the thirst was the water.

Since then,
every face has become Your mirror,
every sound Your whisper,
every loss Your hidden hand.

And when I cry, “My Lord,”
it is You calling to Yourself
from within me.

Birkaç gün önce Shizen Çiftliği'nde hep birlikte ıhlamur çiçeklerini topladık. 🌿✨

Şimdi onları özenle serip gölgede kurutuyoruz. Böylece hem güzel kokularını hem de taşıdıkları şifayı koruyabiliyorlar.

İnşallah bu ıhlamurlar, kışın soğuk günlerinde bizi ısıtır, içimizi rahatlatır ve sağlıklı tutar.

Ihlamur çiçeğinin kokusu benim en sevdiğim kokulardan biri. Her yıl sadece kısa bir süreliğine etrafı sarıyor ve doğanın bize sunduğu bu küçük mucizeleri hatırlatıyor.

Otları ve çiçekleri kurutmak, aslında yazın bereketini kışa taşımanın bir yolu. Biraz güneşi, biraz sıcaklığı ve biraz da mevsimin hediyelerini saklamak gibi...

Last weekend's Natural Farming workshop with Kutluhan Özdemir in Borgo d'Ale, Northern Italy, was much more than a gathering—it was a meeting of hearts.

Every time people come together around Natural Farming, something beautiful happens. New connections are born, friendships begin, and an invisible network starts to weave itself between people who share the same longing: to live, cultivate, and relate to nature in a different way.

One of the most touching moments is always seeing that spark appear in people's eyes when Natural Farming touches their hearts. A spark of recognition, of remembering something that perhaps was always there, waiting to be awakened.

We are deeply grateful to for organizing this event and for bringing together such wonderful people, helping the spirit of Natural Farming spread from field to field, from heart to heart.

A heartfelt thank you to Stefania and Germano for hosting the workshop and welcoming us with such open arms and generous hearts. Your hospitality made everyone feel at home.

May we continue sowing seeds together—not only in the soil, but also in people, communities, and the future we wish to create.

Kiraz hasadını tamamladık, şimdi sıra vişnelerde.

Bu yıl vişnelerimiz çok bereketli oldu; dallar meyvenin ağırlığından eğildi. 🍒

Çiftliğimizin bulunduğu İtalya'nın Marche bölgesinde vişneyle yapılan eski geleneksel tarifler hâlâ yaşatılıyor. En yaygın yöntemlerden biri, vişneleri şekerle katmanlayıp yaklaşık 40 gün boyunca güneşte bekletmek. Bu süreç sonunda ortaya yoğun aromalı, nefis bir vişne şurubu çıkıyor.

Bir diğer gelenek ise vişneden şarap yapmak. Bölgenin en sevilen ürünlerinden biri olan vişne şarabı, geçmişten günümüze uzanan özel bir lezzet.

✨ Grazie di cuore a tutte le persone che hanno partecipato a questo Incontro Evolutivo. ✨

Ci portiamo dentro la bellezza di un pomeriggio fatto di presenza autentica, ascolto e condivisione. In un tempo in cui tutto sembra muoversi velocemente e spesso ci allontaniamo da ciò che conta davvero, ritrovarsi diventa un atto prezioso.

Abbiamo creato uno spazio in cui fermarsi, parlare, riflettere insieme. Uno spazio in cui sperimentare la connessione: con gli altri, con la natura e con noi stessi. Perché è proprio nelle relazioni sincere, nel sentirci parte di qualcosa di più grande e nel ritrovare il contatto con il nostro mondo interiore che possiamo attraversare il cambiamento con maggiore consapevolezza.

La dimensione spirituale, per noi, non è qualcosa di distante dalla vita quotidiana. È la capacità di essere pienamente presenti, di ascoltare ciò che emerge dentro di noi e di accogliere ogni fase della nostra evoluzione con apertura e fiducia. È ricordare che la crescita personale non avviene nell'isolamento, ma attraverso l'incontro, lo scambio e la possibilità di vedere noi stessi riflessi negli altri.

In tempi come questi, coltivare consapevolezza, connessione e autenticità è forse uno dei doni più importanti che possiamo fare a noi stessi e alla comunità di cui facciamo parte.

Siamo felici che Farm Shizen possa essere un luogo che accoglie questi incontri: uno spazio dove la natura ci invita a rallentare, ad ascoltare e a riscoprire ciò che è essenziale.

🌿 Grazie ancora a tutti voi per aver portato la vostra presenza, le vostre domande, il vostro sentire e la vostra energia.

Un ringraziamento speciale va a Enzo e Milena, per aver organizzato questo incontro e per aver guidato con sensibilità e profondità uno scambio così ricco di significato.

Mercoledì 17 giugno alle ore 21, Terra Nuova organizza un webinar gratuito dedicato alla presentazione di "La Lezione della Rugiada" , il nuovo libro di Kutluhan Özdemir.

A partire dall’esperienza vissuta nella Fattoria Naturale Shizen, Kutluhan racconta come il lavoro agricolo possa trasformarsi in un percorso di ascolto profondo e di crescita interiore. La terra non è qualcosa da controllare o gestire, ma una presenza da accompagnare con attenzione e rispetto; un processo che riflette anche il cambiamento di chi la coltiva.

Durante l’incontro si parlerà di semina, attesa, stagioni e silenzio, ma anche di fiducia, presenza e relazione. Un’occasione per riscoprire un modo diverso di stare al mondo, rallentando il ritmo e lasciando spazio a un senso più autentico di appartenenza alla vita.
