In the quiet valley, surrounded by rivers, and golden hills,
Natural Farming Center (NFC) grows as a living space of learning, simplicity, and connection with nature. Founded on the philosophy of do-nothing farming inspired by Masanobu Fukuoka,
NFC is more than a farm it’s a place where soil and soul are cultivated together. Here, seeds sprout freely, trees gro

w wild, and people rediscover what it means to live in harmony with the rhythms of the Earth. We welcome volunteers, students, and travelers from all over the world
to learn natural farming, soil regeneration, seedball reforestation, and community living. The farm also collaborates with social projects, hosting foster youth,
and connects with partners worldwide to spread ecological education and solidarity. Every gesture in Shizen is a meditation — sowing, harvesting, cooking, planting trees,
all guided by the principle of non-interference and natural balance. Through workshops, Erasmus+ projects, and reforestation actions,
we build bridges between education, ecology, and inner transformation.

Viviamo tempi di grande trasformazione. Tempi che ci invitano a osservare più profondamente noi stessi, il mondo che ci circonda e il ruolo che possiamo scegliere di avere nel cambiamento.

Ti invitiamo a un momento di confronto e scambio guidato per riflettere insieme sul tempo che stiamo vivendo, comprendere le sfide e le opportunità del presente e prepararci con maggiore consapevolezza al futuro.

Attraverso il dialogo e l'ascolto esploreremo come la conoscenza di noi stessi possa aiutarci ad attuare i cambiamenti evolutivi necessari e come sia possibile vivere una vita spirituale autentica, esattamente dove ci troviamo e in ogni momento della nostra esistenza.

4 intensive days of learning, observing, and caring for the soil have just come to an end 🌱

The most beautiful thing about the Ortonauti project, created by , is that its impact does not stop here. Like dandelion seeds carried by the wind, the knowledge, care, and inspiration cultivated during these days will travel far, taking root in many new gardens and communities.

We are proud to have supported this beautiful initiative through our SoilSoul agenda and grateful to for making it possible.

Sabato scorso Kutluhan Ozdemir rappresentando la è intervenuta a un incontro pubblico promosso dal GAS di Pergola (PU), dedicato alla proposta di dichiarare il territorio “Comune libero da OGM vecchi e nuovi”.

La delibera affronta temi come tutela della biodiversità, principio di precauzione, agricoltura biologica e libertà delle sementi.

La e il GAS promotore hanno deciso di condividere il documento affinché possa essere adattato e utilizzato da altre comunità, GAS e comitati in tutta Italia.

For a few days, Shizen welcomed a brother from another land.

Rohan arrived from India, bringing with him not only the experience of natural farming, but also the quiet understanding that arises when we deeply listen to the soil. In his hands, agriculture is not a technique — it is a relationship. A way of being with the earth, rather than acting upon it.

He walks alongside farmers in his country, supporting, sharing, learning, remembering that the land already knows how to provide when we step back with trust.

Here at Shizen, there was no distance. Different continents, the same silence in the fields. The same respect for the invisible life beneath our feet. The same feeling that we are not doing, but allowing.

The moments were simple: walking through the garden, observing, exchanging without the need for many words. Yet something deep was shared — like two rivers recognizing they come from the same source.

Grateful for your presence, Rohan.
For the care you bring to the land and to all those who live with it.

The seeds we carry are not only in our hands, but in the way we meet each other.

Vieni all'incontro sabato 16 maggio a Pergola (PU)❗

In merito alla gravità di ciò che sta accadendo sul tema dei nuovi OGM per avere informazioni più precise e dettagliate, su proposta di Monia Mattioli, il GAS di Pergola ha deciso di promuovere un incontro in collaborazione con la RAN (Rete per l’Agricoltura Naturale).
L’incontro si terrà SABATO 16 MAGGIO alle ore 15.30 presso l’Apiario “Il Miele di Duccio”, in via Raffaello, 18 Pergola. In caso di pioggia ci vediamo nei locali di via San Marco.
Sarà presente Kutluhan Özdemir della Fattoria Naturale Shizen, co-fondatore della RAN, agricoltore naturale e divulgatore della pratica dell’agricoltura naturale secondo M. Fukuoka.

More than 40 people joined us at the event at Natural Farm Shizen for a shared journey of reconnecting with the soil through our hands, and through our soul. 🌱
Together we explored soil not only as something physical, but as a living metaphor: a space where growth becomes possible, where transformation happens in silence, where life unfolds when we learn to listen instead of control.

Throughout the day we worked with the earth directly: touching it, observing it smelling it... but we also entered a different dimension of the Soilsoul project: creating spaces for reflection, imagination and inner connection.
In the afternoon, we gathered to reflect on our relationship with soil beyond agriculture. Soil as memory. Soil as potential. Soil as the invisible ground from which both plants and human beings grow.
Like a seed placed quietly into darkness, much of what transforms us cannot be forced. It unfolds in its own time.

Thank you for bringing awareness back to the soil — the living ground where seeds take root, life is nourished, and regeneration begins. 🌱

And thank you .m.association and for walking this journey with us, helping weave together earth, art, and human connection. ✨
