BARBADORO - FROM THE VERY BEGINNING TO TODAY 🍇⏳

Barbadoro’s story begins in the early 1900s with grandfather Don Michelangelo, who first cultivated the land and dedicated it to winemaking 🍷.

Since 1940 🏡, tradition has shaped our wines, today reimagined in a modern, innovative winery ✨. That same passion lives on through Francesco Lirosi and his family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, continuing a legacy rooted in respect for the land and sustainability 🌍♻️.

Certified organic since 1999 🌱, our vineyards in Caltagirone, Sicily ☀️🌊, are home to over 7,000 vines, many grown using the historic “sixth bush” system 🏛️.

Alongside our wines 🍷, we create organic specialties like citrus marmalades 🍊, juices 🥤, and pasta from ancient grains 🌾a true expression of our terroir and its flavors!
