nes with great personality and elegance. The estate is run by their daughter Eva and her husband Javier Pedrazzini. The production is limited to three wines: the reds Monteti and Caburnio, and the TM Rosé. They are all classified as IGT Toscana, to fully second the characteristics of the soil, allowing us to choose the grape varieties best suited in absolute freedom, pursuing low yields per hectare and drawing up our own vinification and ageing method, which we apply with the utmost rigour and refine year after year. Every vintage of our wines aims to draw the best from the climatic development of the season and the response of nature. Therefore, every vintage, being built on solid foundations, has its own story to tell. Tenuta Monteti si trova in Toscana, nella parte meridionale della Maremma, pochi chilometri a sud del villaggio medioevale Capalbio. E’ proprio qui, tra questa macchia mediterranea e questi boschi, che nel 1998, dopo una lunga ricerca, Paolo Baratta, con la moglie Gemma, ha trovato le condizioni ideali per produrre vini di grande personalità ed eleganza. Tenuta Monteti è oggi condotta dalla figlia Eva assieme a suo marito Javier Pedrazzini. La produzione è limitata a soli tre vini: i rossi Monteti e Caburnio, e il TM Rosé. Sono tutti denominazioni Igt Toscana per assecondare meglio le caratteristiche del terreno, potendo scegliere in libertà i vitigni più adatti, perseguire basse rese ed elaborare un proprio metodo di vinificazione e invecchiamento. Ogni nostra annata mira a trarre il meglio dall’andamento climatico e dalla risposta della natura. Ogni annata è quindi, pur attorno a pilastri saldi, una storia a sé.
