Da un sogno condiviso, una storia di famiglia.
Mamma Maria è parte della storia Bortolusso fin dalle sue origini. In Inghilterra, mentre Emiro lavorava come maggiordomo presso una cugina della Regina d’Inghilterra, lei lavorava come cuoca nella stessa casa. Insieme affrontarono sacrifici e lontananza, mettendo da parte ciò che potevano per costruire, passo dopo passo, il loro futuro in Friuli.
Poi il ritorno a Carlino, la famiglia e quel progetto che, con tanto lavoro e sacrificio, sarebbe diventato la cantina che conosciamo oggi.
Quando Emiro venne a mancare, lasciò a Maria il testimone della sua saggezza, e ai figli Sergio e Clara quello della professionalità.
Una vita condivisa con la famiglia, tra sacrifici, lavoro e un sogno diventato realtà.

Mamma Maria has been part of the Bortolusso story from the very beginning. In England, while Emiro worked as a butler for a cousin of the Queen of England, she worked as a cook in the same household. Together, they faced sacrifice and the challenges of being far from home, saving whatever they could to build, step by step, their future in Friuli.
Then came the return to Carlino, their family, and a project that, through hard work and sacrifice, would grow into the w**ery we know today.
When Emiro passed away, he entrusted Maria with the legacy of his wisdom, and their children, Sergio and Clara, with that of his professional expertise.
