History
The lands, of about 4 hectares were bought in 2002 regrouping several estates. The farm was created through the recover of fields not cultivated for a long time. Field are contiguous to a creek, the Bolgheri's pit, which delimit the holding on one side. On the place there were 3 old mills, which originally belonged to the Segalari's Castle. The oldest one, named Buselli's Mill, appears in
the Lorenese's land cadastre and date back to 1650. It's situated exactly on the creek and it was recently restored and destined to wine cellar. As the oldest one, the superior's mill too was restored and assigned to rural habitation. Mills used to work with the water taken from the trench and collected in to the old millpond, a kind of basin, upstream of the two buildings. On the other side of the estate there is the ruin of another mill, situated under a second millpond. Vineyard
The DOC Bolgheri's vineyard, of 2.3 hectares, it's situated on the first coastal's hills, at a 90 meters of altitude, with a south-west orientation of the fields. It is an unspoilt and wild place characterized by the presence of woods and by the dynamic energy of the river that flows along the estate. The rows follow the natural slope of the lands, as they are spanning the hillock and have a north-south orientation, optimizing the illumination of the sun. The vines, 5680 stups for each hectare , are breed up with rammed cordon. They are farmed in a natural way, with the ICEA's organic certification , without using chemical fertilizers or systemic products, preferring fertilizing the soils through the green manure technique and with the symbiosis with mycorrhizas. The vines benefit of a temperature aired and warm climate with great excursion between day and night which help along the growing and the development of the perfumes in the wine. The red vine variety situated in the plot of the land are Cab. Sauvignon (44%), Merlot (29%), Sangiovese (13%), Petit Verdot (11%), and Syrah (3%). The white variety are Vermentino (93%) and White Manzoni (7%). Dreams
