Florence has been a beautifully multicultural city for centuries and its culinary scene is slowly catching up.
Visit in the residential San Jacopino neighborhood for an excellent Peruvian fine dining experience.
We did Chef ’s tasting menu and enjoyed:
- several pisco sours by their cocktail bar ;
- Hamachi ceviche: amberjack sashimi, leche de tigre, coriander and achiote oil, choclo and cancha corn;
- Costillar: marinated grilled lamb ribs, with chimichurri and puréed choclo;
- Sevi tartare: beef tartare with sriracha, Patanegra lard, shaved cured egg yolk, on grilled buttered toast;
- Sudado: kamado grilled umbrina dish with seafood bisque, leche de tigre foam, fried yucca, and white rice;
- Pachamanca: marinated pluma iberica with chimichurri and salsa criolla;
- three desserts: caramel and cinnamon flan, white chocolate and tres leches crumble, gelato and cacao mousse.
