VILLA DELLA TORRE DI MARILISA ALLEGRINI ACCOGLIE IL G7 DEI PARLAMENTI
Sabato 7 Settembre 2024, Villa Della Torre ha ospitato il pranzo dei Presidenti delle Camere basse dei Paesi del G7 e del Parlamento europeo. La dimora cinquecentesca, acquistata e restaurata da Marilisa Allegrini e dalla sua famiglia, è stata scelta come luogo per l’evento conclusivo della 22ª Riunione delle Camere basse in svolgimento in questi giorni a Verona nell’ambito della presidenza italiana del G7. Accompagnati dal Presidente della Camera dei Deputati, on. Lorenzo Fontana, i Presidenti partecipanti al G7 hanno così lasciato il centro della città per raggiungere il cuore della Valpolicella e far visita ad uno dei più importanti monumenti del Rinascimento Italiano, opera dei Maestri Giulio Romano, Michele Sanmicheli e Giovanni Battista Scultori e delle loro Scuole. «È una grande emozione e siamo grati della fiducia accordataci» commenta Marilisa Allegrini, che oltre ad un complesso visitabile, una cantina e un luxury wine&art relais ha fatto di Villa Della Torre anche l’headquarter del suo omonimo gruppo di famiglia. «Questa Villa, che per noi è casa, rappresenta quel patrimonio culturale italiano che tutto il mondo ci invidia e che è nostro compito diffondere, mostrare e raccontare. Dobbiamo esserne fieri e giusti portavoce. Accogliere la delegazione del G7 è davvero motivo di grande orgoglio. Mi auguro che il fascino e le suggestioni che questo luogo racchiude, di cui noi in famiglia siamo innamorati, abbiano conquistato il cuore e l’anima di tutti i partecipanti al pranzo odierno». Cuore, anima ma anche palato. Per l’occasione, infatti, protagonisti sono stati anche i vini del Gruppo Marilisa Allegrini. Durante l’aperitivo, svoltosi nel Peristilio, gli ospiti hanno potuto degustare i vini di Poggio Al Tesoro (Solosole e Cassiopea) e di San Polo (Rosso di Montalcino). Mentre, in tavola, sono stati selezionati i vini Villa Della Torre per Palazzo Te, Camera di Amore e Psiche, Lugana DOC 2021, Villa Della Torre per Palazzo Te, Camera dei Giganti, Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC 2020, Villa Della Torre, Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2019, Poggio Al Tesoro, Teos IGT 2016. Caterina Sofia Mastella Allegrini, Direttrice Marketing e Comunicazione di Villa Della Torre, commenta così i vini aperti per quest’occasione: «È una scelta che abbiamo fortemente consigliato ma che è stata subito accolta con favore. Il lavoro svolto con la Fondazione Palazzo Te e con il Direttore Stefano Baia Curioni, a cui teniamo moltissimo, ci permette di unire due luoghi straordinari con l’obiettivo di aumentarne la conoscenza. MARILISA ALLEGRINI’S VILLA DELLA TORRE WELCOMES THE G7 OF THE PARLIAMENTS
On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, Villa Della Torre hosted the lunch of the Presidents of the lower chambers of the G7 countries and the European Parliament. The 16th-century residence, purchased and restored with great dedication by Marilisa Allegrini, was chosen as the venue for the concluding event of the 22nd Meeting of the Lower Houses of Parliament held in the last few days in Verona as part of Italy’s presidency of the G7. Accompanied by the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Hon. Lorenzo Fontana, the Presidents participating in the G7 thus left the city center and traveled to the heart of Valpolicella to see one of the most important monuments of the Italian Renaissance, the work of the masters Giulio Romano, Michele Sanmicheli and Giovanni Battista Scultori and their Schools. “It was a truly thrilling and we are grateful for the trust placed in us,” said Marilisa Allegrini, who in addition to a tour-worthy complex, a winery and a luxury wine&art relais, has also made Villa Della Torre the headquarters of the family group that bears her name. “This Villa, which is home for us, is an example of the sort of Italian cultural heritage that is the envy of the whole world and that it is our task to disseminate, exhibit and narrate.
