Borgo Casa al Vento is the fruit of an everlasting love, and of the extraordinary passion that Ria and Pino Gioffreda bestowed upon it. Adagiato sulle colline tra Barbischio e Gaiole in Chianti, il Borgo è stato restaurato nel 1993 e da allora si è reso protagonista di una vera e propria rinascita. Intorno all'ospitalità, un attento servizio di ristorazione aperto anche agli esterni, la vinoterapia perchè l'uva non finisce mai di sorprendere, ed il vino biologico una passione che è diventata realtà con le etichette Aria e Foho.

The big news of 2026?
Our new infinity pool.

Many of you have already had the chance to enjoy it this summer, but we wanted to properly introduce one of the biggest additions to Borgo Casa al Vento this year.

For our small, family-run Tuscan borgo, this was an important investment and a project very close to our hearts.

Over the years, Borgo Casa al Vento has grown step by step, always staying true to what we are: a family, a love for this land, and a place surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and the hills of Chianti.

Our new infinity pool is another chapter in that story, a place to slow down, take in the Tuscan landscape and simply enjoy being here.
