Azienda Vitivinicola Nervi makes Gattinara DOCG from 28,5 hectares of Nebbiolo vines in the Molsino

Nervi is the oldest winery with 28,5 hectars of Nebbiolo vineyards within the Gattinara DOCG area. The vines grow in steep south facing hills at the foot of the alps in soil of volcanic gravel, clay and sand. Diligent work by hand in the vineyard and gentle aging in large oak barrels in the cellar make an elegant and mineral rich Nebbiolo with a clear signature of origin. Nervi makes to single vineyard Gattinaras - vigna Molsino and vigna Valferana - Alto Piemonte´s first Cru wines with first vintage 1970.
