Non soltanto un evento, ma una comunità. Un movimento.
Ieri al Teatro Regio di Torino si è aperta la 16ª edizione di Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, alla presenza del Presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella e delle comunità arrivate da tutto il mondo.
Un momento che ha riportato al centro temi che riguardano tutti noi: il cibo come bene comune, la tutela della biodiversità, la sostenibilità e la responsabilità nei confronti delle generazioni future. Essere qui, per Varvello, significa prendere parte a un confronto che va oltre il cibo e che parla di territorio e sostenibilità. Terra Madre continua proprio da qui: dall'incontro tra persone, generazioni, saperi e culture diverse, perché ciò che abbiamo ricevuto possa diventare qualcosa da consegnare al futuro.

Yesterday, the 16th edition of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto opened at Teatro Regio in Turin, in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, and communities from all over the world.
It was an opportunity to bring issues that concern us all back to the forefront: food as a common good, the protection of biodiversity, sustainability, and responsibility towards future generations.
For Varvello, being here means taking part in a conversation that goes beyond food, embracing broader themes such as local communities and sustainability.
This is precisely where Terra Madre begins: with the encounter between people, generations, knowledge and different cultures, so that what we have inherited can become something we pass on to the future.
