It’s moments like this morning that reminds me why I do what I do. The weather is just starting to warm up although the evenings are still cool - still enough moisture in the air .

Grass is growing at a rapid rate and this is the fourth time I’ve tried to keep it manageable.

Some have told me it’s a man’s job what I’m doing - cos they think I’m being fanciful at leaving patches when I come across lovely wild flowers - they’ll come back next year even mown- but I think the butterflies 🦋 and bees 🐝 are happy 😊
