As you might have understood by now, Alessandro has a deep connection to Sardinia. This small estate, , is located in the north of the island, Romangia area, and makes his favorite “Montrachet of Sardinia”.

The winery is run by two sisters - Li Sureddi in the local dialect - Alessia and Noemi, the fourth generation of their family to care for these old vines and the land around them. Their approach is simple: let the grapes speak for themselves, through spontaneous fermentations and farming without synthetic treatments.

Throwback to when we climbed Mount Vesuvius to raise a glass on the edge of volcano.
InSumma, our collaboration with Cantine Olivella, is a wine that truly reflects the spirit of the Roscioli Wine Club.

The idea was born during a visit to an ancient Roman villa and grew into a project that went against market logic: aging Catalanesca - a native grape of Mount Vesuvius - in amphora. With a bit of trust (and the promise to buy the first release), we encouraged Ciro, the producer, to follow that intuition and make it real.

Years later, InSumma has become one of our bestsellers and a long-time favorite within our selections.
