Our family is deeply rooted in this land since the beginning of '900 and we have been strenghtening the bond with these hills through four generations.At the beginning of 900, Ernesto Saffirio, Josetta father's, started to cultivate the vineyards inherited from his father. In 1975 Josetta get a degree in agriculture and decides with her husband Roberto, a winemaker, to take care of the vineyards planted by her grandparents after the Second World War. After a couple of years Roberto and Josetta notice their efforts rewarded by Nebbiolo givin wine of great quality. In 1985 the first Barolo with the current label was presented – it was a result of passion and commitment that was never wavered. Sara is currently devoting herself to the family vineyards and represents the 4th generation of farmers and with the same devotion cultivates over 200-year-old tradition.
