Nata nel 1975, Cascina Sòt è un’azienda agricola che si trova a Monforte d’Alba, ed è stata acquistata da Maria e Giuseppe dopo che gli stessi hanno lavorato per anni nella proprietà come mezzadri. È però con l’avvento del figlio Leonardo, e quindi di sua moglie Silvana, che l’attività vitivinicola è divenuta l’unico impegno aziendale, per cui l’impresa attualmente coltiva i propri vigneti, alcuni

dei quali situati tra i più prestigiosi cru di Barolo. Dedicando alle piante di vite le migliori cure, sono raccolte uve pregiate e schiette, che in fase di vinificazione vengono lavorate esaltandone al massimo le caratteristiche intrinseche. Nascono così, da una piccola cantina, etichette cesellate nei minimi dettagli, prodotte con la massima attenzione rivolta a ogni singolo passaggio lavorativo, e soprattutto espressive come poche del varietale e del terroir di provenienza.

Uno dei momenti più importanti dell’anno in cantina.

Oggi abbiamo completato l’assemblaggio dei nostri Barolo 2023: il Barolo del Comune di Monforte d’Alba e il Barolo Bricco San Pietro.

Ogni botte ha seguito il proprio percorso di affinamento, sviluppando caratteristiche uniche. Con l’assemblaggio, queste diverse sfumature si uniscono per definire l’identità finale di ciascun vino.

Un passaggio fondamentale che richiede esperienza, attenzione e una profonda conoscenza dell’annata.

Ora il tempo farà il resto.

One of the most important moments of the year in the cellar.

Today we completed the final blending of our 2023 Barolos: Barolo del Comune di Monforte d’Alba and Barolo Bricco San Pietro.

Each barrel has followed its own aging journey, developing unique characteristics over time. Through blending, these different expressions come together to define the final identity of each wine.

A crucial step that requires experience, precision, and a deep understanding of the vintage.

Now, time will do the rest.
