La nostra famiglia affonda le radici in questa terra ad inizio 900, quando Ernesto Saffirio, padre di Josetta, inizia a coltivare vigneti ereditati dal padre. La storia si ripete nel '75: Josetta, laureata in agraria, con marito Roberto, enologo, comincia a coltivare le vigne dei nonni, piantate poco dopo la seconda guerra mondiale. ebbiolo di riconosciuta qualità e, nell'85, con la presentazione del primo Barolo. Dagli anni 90, è Sara, figlia di Josetta e Roberto, a dedicarsi a tempo pieno ai vigneti di famiglia, con la stessa dedizione,senso di appartenenza alla terra e ai vigneti e rispetto dell'ambiente e del territorio di chi l'ha preceduta. Our family is deeply rooted in this land since the beginning of '900 and we have been strenghtening the bond with these hills through four generations.At the beginning of 900, Ernesto Saffirio, Josetta father's, started to cultivate the vineyards inherited from his father. In 1975 Josetta get a degree in agriculture and decides with her husband Roberto, a winemaker, to take care of the vineyards planted by her grandparents after the Second World War. After a couple of years Roberto and Josetta notice their efforts rewarded by Nebbiolo givin wine of great quality. In 1985 the first Barolo with the current label was presented – it was a result of passion and commitment that was never wavered. Sara is currently devoting herself to the family vineyards and represents the 4th generation of farmers and with the same devotion cultivates over 200-year-old tradition.

Il nostro Barolo Riserva Castelletto Millenovecento48 ha attraversato i confini del Piemonte per essere protagonista al World Gourmet Festival di Bangkok. È stato abbinato al pregiato Grilled Kagoshima A5 Wagyu Sirloin, preparato dallo chef 3 stelle Michelin Stefan Stiller. 🍷🍽️

Our Barolo Riserva Castelletto Millenovecento48 crossed the borders of Piedmont to be featured at the World Gourmet Festival in Bangkok. It was paired with the exquisite Grilled Kagoshima A5 Wagyu Sirloin, prepared by 3 Michelin-star chef Stefan Stiller. 🍷🍽️

Il Barolo riserva e l'Alta Langa di Josetta Saffirio alla Vendemmia di Via Montenapoleone a Milano. Potranno degustarli oggi dalle 19 i clienti della Maison Margiela e la stampa specializzata. Un'esperienza esclusiva di degustazione che testimonia il connubio fra moda e fine wines. Oltre alla Maison Margiela, le altre boutique del gruppo OTB di Renzo Rosso che ospiteranno le cantine della sua holding Brave Wine saranno: Jil Sander con Cantina Benanti e boutique Marni con Diesel Farm.
