A vintage built on agility over power — less muscular than the years before it, defined instead by finesse and drinkability
Cold winter, wet spring, hot dry summer with rain mid-August. Dry, well-ventilated conditions from late August through harvest gave excellent grape health. Costanti harvested late September into early October
Tasting notes — Costanti 2008: intense ruby with garnet reflections. Cinnamon, nutmeg, well-integrated oak on the nose. Soft, balanced palate with excellent acidity and a long, consistent finish
Elegant tannins, structure that rewards patience
