Oria Toscana nasce da un’idea ambiziosa: raccogliere nello stesso appezzamento 140 DIVERSI CLONI DI SANGIOVESE, custodendo una straordinaria parte della sua DIVERSITÀ GENETICA e trasformandola, vendemmia dopo vendemmia, in un patrimonio da conoscere e condividere. 🍷

Durante l’ORIA DAY, tra il vigneto, il tramonto 🌅 e tanti amici riuniti attorno allo stesso progetto, abbiamo celebrato ciò che Oria vuole diventare: un luogo in cui il SANGIOVESE possa raccontarsi attraverso le sue differenze e dare origine a VINI CAPACI DI SORPRENDERE. 🍇✨

Ma Oria non vuole essere soltanto un progetto da osservare.

🤝 VOGLIAMO COSTRUIRLO INSIEME a chi crede nel vino, nella terra 🌱 e nel valore della diversità.

Oria Toscana began with an ambitious idea: bringing 140 DIFFERENT SANGIOVESE CLONES into a single vineyard, preserving an extraordinary expression of its GENETIC DIVERSITY and turning it, vintage after vintage, into something to explore, understand and share. 🍷

During ORIA DAY, surrounded by the vineyard, a beautiful Tuscan sunset 🌅 and friends who are already part of this journey, we celebrated what Oria is becoming: a place where SANGIOVESE can reveal the many different identities hidden within one of Italy’s greatest grape varieties and give life to W**ES CAPABLE OF SURPRISING US. 🍇✨

But Oria is not meant to be a project you simply watch from the outside.

🤝 WE WANT TO BUILD IT TOGETHER with people who believe in w**e, the land 🌱 and the value of diversity.

These 140 CLONES are only the beginning of the story. The w**es that will come from this vineyard will be the most exciting way to tell it. 🍷❤️

🇮🇹 Il ruolo dell’enologo è comprendere il potenziale dell’uva osservando ogni dettaglio dell’acino.

🍇 Quando l’acino è più piccolo, cambia il rapporto tra polpa e buccia: quest’ultima può incidere maggiormente sulla struttura, sulla concentrazione e sull’equilibrio del vino.
Da questo delicato equilibrio può nascere un risultato straordinario, capace di esprimere pienamente l’identità del territorio.

Osservando la buccia, la polpa e l’uniformità di maturazione, possiamo interpretare i segnali della vite e orientare le scelte necessarie per ottenere vini eleganti, equilibrati e territoriali.

The role of the w**emaker is to understand the potential of the grapes by observing every detail of the berry.

🍇 When the berry is smaller, the balance between pulp and skin changes, allowing the skin to have a greater influence on the w**e’s structure, concentration and balance.
This delicate relationship can produce a remarkable result, expressing the unique identity of the terroir.

💫 By observing the skin, pulp and uniformity of ripening, we can interpret the signals of the vine and guide the decisions needed to create elegant, balanced and terroir-driven w**es.

Ad Areni, in Armenia, seimila anni fa è nato il vino.

Il vitigno Areni 🍇 è tra i più antichi al mondo: le stesse radici di sempre, mai innestate, sulla stessa terra vulcanica.

È un posto difficile, isolato, a un passo dal confine con l’Azerbaigian, segnato dalla guerra — e fare vino qui richiede coraggio 💪, ogni giorno.

🇮🇹 Ci sono vini che entrano a voce alta. E poi c’è il CALLET.

Uva antica di Maiorca, buccia sottile, colore che quasi non vuole colorare. Ricorda la Monica di Sardegna: stessa gentilezza mediterranea, stesso tannino che accarezza.

Ma con un’eleganza che, a occhi chiusi, sa di Pinot Nero - frutti rossi croccanti e un finale salino.

MOLANA viene dall’Iran: le uve sono state raccolte di nascosto tra le montagne 🏔️ e portate oltre il confine, fino in Armenia, dove finalmente sono diventate vino. 🍇

Si chiama così in onore di Rumi ✍️ — “il nostro maestro” — il poeta che nel vino vedeva l’estasi dell’anima e la sua sete di libertà. 🕊️
