Nel 1979 l’enologo pavese Teresio Schiavi realizzò in Franciacorta il sogno di spumantizzare il Pinot Bianco. Dopo 40 anni, il vitigno continua a rappresentare un vanto per questa realtà familiare nella quale oggi operano con entusiasmo anche Alessandro e Alberto Schiavi, enologi come il padre. Mirabella, il cui nome deriva dalla località dove fu piantato il primo vigneto aziendale, conta su 45 ettari di vigneto bio, di cui una porzione risalente ai primi anni Ottanta, vasche in cemento vintage, fermentazioni malolattiche totali e rifermentazioni lunghe nella cantina sotterranea circondata da un torrente ipogeo. L'azienda produce 350mila bottiglie all’anno, suddivise tra i Franciacorta classici, i Demetra Brut Nature e i DØM Riserva Dosaggio Zero. In 1979, Teresio Schiavi, a winemaker from Fortunago, Pavia, realized the dream of making a Pinot Bianco sparkling wine in Franciacorta. After 40 years, this grape variety continues to be a source of pride for this family-owned winery in which Alessandro and Alberto Schiavi, oenologists like their father, also work with enthusiasm today. Mirabella, whose name derives from the locality where the company's first vineyard was planted, has 45 hectares of organic vineyards, of which a portion dating back to the early 1980s, vintage concrete vinification tanks, total malolactic fermentation, and long refermentations in the underground cellar surrounded by a hypogeum stream. The company produces 350,000 bottles a year, divided into three lines: the classic Franciacortas, the Demetras Brut Nature, and the DØM Riservas Zero Dosage. CAMPAGNA FINANZIATA AI SENSI DEL REG. Sai cosa succede in vigna, in Franciacorta, ad ottobre?

Le foglie cambiano colore, le giornate si accorciano e la vite si prepara all'arrivo dell'inverno.

Dopo la vendemmia, la pianta continua la sua attività, accumulando nel legno e nelle radici le riserve necessarie per affrontare i mesi più freddi e tornare a germogliare in primavera.

Nel frattempo, in cantina, i mosti iniziano a trasformarsi nei vini che daranno vita ai nostri Franciacorta.

È un periodo importante, in cui il lavoro svolto durante l'anno comincia a prendere forma e si pongono le basi per la produzione futura.

Questo è ottobre a Mirabella Franciacorta.

The leaves change colour, the days grow shorter, and the vines prepare for the arrival of winter.

After the harvest, the vines continue their activity, storing the reserves they need in their wood and roots to get through the colder months and begin growing again in spring.

Meanwhile, in the cellar, the musts begin their transformation into the w**es that will become our Franciacorta.

It's an important time of year, when the work carried out over the past months begins to take shape, laying the foundations for future production.

🇮🇹 Trovare un'attività che coinvolga davvero tutta la famiglia non è sempre facile.
Per questo, il 1° novembre, vi aspettiamo in cantina per una mattinata da vivere insieme, tra fotografia, creatività e degustazione.

I bambini dai 6 ai 12 anni scopriranno l'arte dello scatto insieme a due fotografe professioniste: le loro foto potranno essere stampate e trasformate in un progetto da portare a casa. A seguire, merenda con succo di frutta e brioche. 🥐
Per gli adulti, visita in cantina e degustazione di 3 vini della linea Edea.

Pacchetto 80 €: 2 adulti con visita e degustazione + 1 bambino al laboratorio.
Partecipante aggiuntivo: +20 €, da comunicare via email e saldare in loco.

🇬🇧 Finding an activity that truly brings the whole family together isn't always easy.
That's why, on 1 November, we're welcoming you to the w**ery for a morning to share, with photography, creativity and w**e tasting.

Children aged 6 to 12 will discover the art of photography with two professional photographers: their pictures can be printed and turned into a project to take home. Afterwards, a snack with fruit juice and brioche. 🥐
For adults, a w**ery tour and a tasting of 3 w**es from the Edea line.

€80 package: 2 adults with tour and tasting + 1 child in the workshop.
Additional participant: +€20, to be requested by email and paid on site.
