🇬🇧 Every bottle has a starting point.
Ours is here, on the morainic hills of Franciacorta.
Soils of glacial origin, formed by sand, gravel and clay, where we grow around 45 hectares of vineyards between Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. Among them is the 1981 collection vineyard: at its centre stands the Torretta Mirabella, the tower the w**ery takes its name from.
This is where the work begins: copper and sulphur treatments, close attention to grape ripening and a manual harvest, bunch by bunch.
The quality of Franciacorta is built already at this stage — through agronomic choices, the care of the vines and the moment we decide to pick.
But what happens once the grapes leave the vineyard? Follow the series “Come nasce il Mirabella Franciacorta” to find out.
