🍇 La vendemmia è iniziata.
Quest’anno il caldo ha anticipato i tempi e ci ha chiesto di ascoltare la vigna con ancora più attenzione.
Abbiamo iniziato con il Moscato Bianco, trovando uve sane, mature e ricche di profumi. Poi è arrivato il Grillo, con grappoli spargoli, perfettamente sani e una bella acidità, quella che ci fa pensare a un vino fresco, vivo e capace di raccontare bene questa terra.
In vendemmia non si tratta semplicemente di raccogliere l’uva. Si tratta di scegliere quando è il momento giusto, osservare, assaggiare, aspettare e poi avere il coraggio di iniziare.
Il resto lo farà il tempo.
Noi, per ora, continuiamo ad accompagnare l’uva dalla vigna alla cantina, con la stessa cura con cui coltiviamo questo piccolo pezzo di Sicilia. 🍇
🍇 Harvest season has begun.
This year, the heat brought everything forward, asking us to listen to the vineyard even more closely.
We started with Moscato Bianco, finding healthy, ripe grapes packed with rich aromas. Then came Grillo, with well-spaced, perfectly sound clusters and a lovely acidity, the kind that promises a fresh, vibrant wine capable of truly telling the story of this land.
Harvest isn’t just about picking grapes. It’s about choosing the right moment, observing, tasting, waiting, and then having the courage to begin.
Time will take care of the rest.
For now, we continue to guide the grapes from the vine to the cellar, with the very same care we dedicate to cultivating this small corner of Sicily. 🍇
