We land here occasionally. Mostly we’re too busy and not really interested. The wine talks and we work on walking. Or crawling, mostly crawling tbh. Would like to run at some stage.
No worthy running commentary here. Just a bit of vino rosso from Aglianico, some wild rose orange hybrid which was long in the planning, short in the decision making, amazingly delicious in the drinking. And skinsy bianco made with Fiano.
Les Caves peddle a negozi wine we make under Fratelli Felix label. It’s a vibe. And well cheap.

Also when we get our s**t together there’s a killer aged macerated Fiano which I wanna drink with you all. Called Soledì. It’s definitely full of sun. And joy.

This vintage, 2021, is probably mine and Bruno’s favourite. Elegant, juicy, bright. Almost a silky texture on the palate, a really good expression of Cilento Aglianico. 3 days maceration and only fermented free run juice, which means low tannin extraction. Beautiful texture and colour. Made with love.

Questa annata, il 2021, è probabilmente la mia preferita e quella di Bruno. Elegante, succosa, brillante. Quasi setosa al palato, un’espressione davvero buona dell’aglianico del Cilento. 3 giorni di macerazione e solo mosto fiore fermentato, il che significa bassa estrazione di tannini. CILENTO. Un posto speciale. Mille anni di felicità in vigna.

Solo l'ultima generazione ha iniziato a produrre vini di livello mondiale. La prossima generazione vedrà il Cilento entrare nel torrente principale. 20 anni fa era Nerello Mascalese & Etna, la nuova scoperta. L'Aglianico è pronto per il salto da 2000 anni. I nostri amici Mastroberardino Winery] hanno mantenuto viva la convinzione, ve ne siamo tutti grati. Irpina, Vulture sono magnifici ambasciatori dell'Aglianico. Continentale. Vulcanico. Austero. Complesso. Degno di età. Bellissimo.

Malvasia/Trebbiano/Coda di Volpe/Fiano.

Co-fermentato sulle bucce di Fiano per 10 giorni.

Lieviti autoctoni, fermentazione malo, invecchiato in vecchia vecchia quercia

Vera espressione dell'origine, risucchiando tutto il calcare e il granito e tutto il sole che bacia questo vigneto ai margini del Parco Nazionale del Cilento, abbiamo preso in campo questa miscela di aromatici, acquistando potenza con supernutrienti bacche intere di Fiano per una moderata quantità di macerazione che conferisce al tessuto una qualità lussureggiante di cera d'api. È audace e luminoso con una tensione adeguata e un ascensore salino per finire.

Così tanto da fare ma così facile da bere. Pesce grasso, carni bianche. O qualcosa che puoi gustare durante un pasto. Va avanti e avanti. .

Co-fermented on Fiano skins for 10 days.

Native yeasts, malo, aged in old old oak

A real expression of origin, sucking up all the limestone and granite and all the sun that kisses this vineyard on the fringes of the Cilento national park, we took this fieldblend of aromatics, gaining power with super-nutritious whole Fiano berries for a moderate amount of maceration giving a lush beeswax quality to the texture. It’s bold and bright with proper tension and a saline lift to finish.

So much going on but so easy to drink. Fatty fish, white meat. Or something you can enjoy throughout a meal. Goes on and on. .
