This morning we began the 2026 harvest at Castello dei Rampolla, picking our first Chardonnay.
An exceptionally early start — around 15 days ahead of our usual timing, and the earliest beginning to harvest in our history.
It inevitably brings us back to 2003, another extraordinary vintage, when we harvested the d’Alceo grapes on August 17th.
Twenty-three years later, we find ourselves once again in the vineyard in mid-August — this time even earlier.

Questa mattina abbiamo iniziato la vendemmia 2026 a Castello dei Rampolla, raccogliendo i primi grappoli di Chardonnay.
Un inizio eccezionalmente anticipato — circa 15 giorni rispetto alle nostre consuete tempistiche, e il più precoce nella storia di Rampolla.
È inevitabile tornare con la memoria al 2003, un’altra annata straordinaria, quando il 17 agosto vendemmiammo le uve destinate al d’Alceo.
Ventitré anni dopo, ci ritroviamo nuovamente in vigna a metà agosto — questa volta ancora prima.
Un inizio storico per la vendemmia 2026.
