Amolitta Pasta Amolitta Pasta ® is a small company in Maine making Italian style pasta. Our pasta is made with USA grown semolina. Our packaging is compostable.

We launched our business in the summer of 2019, and are now stocked in 150+ locations in ME, NH, VT & MA.

Just a few pasta professionals spending the day in Parma, Italy. Such a pleasure having a leisurely lunch with great cuisine from region of Italy. Am not sure if the “pasta del pane fritta nello strutto” (bread dough fried in lard) is a specialty of the region, or perhaps just the restaurant but it was so good especially topped, and eaten with great Parma ham. Cosi buono. 🤌😛

Made fresh ravioli pasta last night using pasta tools I bought here in Florence. The filling was inspired by a meal we had out a few days ago and included ricotta, pecorino, and pear. The raviolis were sautéd in melted butter and drizzled with balsamic glaze. Cosi buono. 🤌😛

Took a fresh mozzarella making class yesterday.  Will have to do this more often. 🤌😛

Schicciata sandwiches are a must to have in Florence. The bread is generally thinner and crisper then focaccia. The meat, cheese, and toppings are fresher, and tastier than what you are used to in the US. And the prices are very reasonable. My advice - unless you are very hungry best to share one between two people. If still hungry pick up a pastry, or gelato elsewhere. So far we have been to and

ANNOUNCEMENT! Amolitta Pasta will be closed for the month of March while the owners of our small family business will be in Florence, Italy. We have worked extra hard to ensure our customers are stocked up through our return so our pasta should continue to be on the shelf at your favorite food market. Unfortunately we will not be able to fulfill Shopify direct ship orders in March.

We are so excited! The opportunity to spend a month in Italy presented itself and we jumped at it. We will be taking pasta classes, meeting with our pasta consultant, and exploring new ideas. The month will allow us to live like locals, eat and cook local foods, shop, explore, photograph, and so much more. We are hoping to post a lot while away. Stay tuned.

New Year’s resolution time. How about © Eat Better Pasta in 2026. This is our company’s copyrighted slogan and what we believe in. Making pasta as good as they do in Italy but right here in Maine, USA is what we do. Our pasta is stocked in well over 100 independent food markets, and we have shipped our pasta to 20 states and DC. Great meals are easy when you start with better pasta and a few really good ingredients. Here is our pasta with cherry tomatoes, broccoli, leftover rotisserie chicken, pesto, and cheese. So good!
