Chianti Classico that is modern without being international The winery has now been in the care and protection of the Zonin Family for over 40 years.

The medieval village of Castello di Albola stands on the magnificent Chianti hills, in an unique location known for the charm of its history, the evocative power of art and the unique landscape and rural context of unrivalled harmony. Throughout the ages the estate has belonged to some of the most noble Tuscan Families, from the Acciaioli and the Samminati to the Pazzi and the Ginori Conti. Gianni

Zonin’s first task was to ensure that the vineyards would produce high quality grapes. Then he restored the outbuildings and the beautiful villa that had been built in the 16th century but maintained in its two massive towers the traces of the original mediaeval castle. In addition to the restoration of the main villa and of the hamlet, the rural outbuildings have also been refurbished and are now used as accommodation. A new wine cellar has also been built in perfect harmony with the landscape. The Zonin Family has enlarged both the vineyards and the estate, which today covers 900 hectares, of which 125 are under vines and over 4 thousand olive trees are grown.

In queste settimane i grappoli hanno completato gran parte del loro percorso di maturazione e la vendemmia si avvicina. 🍇

A abbiamo seguito ogni fase della crescita della vite con attenzione, soprattutto nel nostro percorso di viticoltura biologica: la gestione del suolo, l’inerbimento, la biodiversità e il controllo quotidiano della vigna hanno accompagnato la pianta verso il suo naturale equilibrio.

Oggi i grappoli sono quasi pronti per essere raccolti: è il risultato di un lavoro costruito giorno dopo giorno, quello che dà forma al carattere dei nostri .

Al via la quarta edizione della mostra d’arte a , curata da Fabio Calvetti e Xhomo Armand.

Dal 5 settembre al 31 dicembre, le cantine storiche di Albola ospiteranno le opere di Carlo Romiti e Paolo Staccioli, rispettivamente pittore e scultore, chiamati a confrontarsi attorno a un tema comune: la terra.

Il progetto torna a esplorare il dialogo tra arte e vino attraverso lo sguardo dei curatori Fabio Calvetti e Armand Xhomo.

Protagonisti di questa edizione saranno Paolo Staccioli e Carlo Romiti: due artisti, due sensibilità e due interpretazioni differenti, con una storia da raccontare.

A settembre vi aspettiamo per il vernissage e l’apertura della mostra, dedicata all’incontro tra creatività, tempo e identità.
