This morning, at the AIAS conference during the Zero Emission event at Fiera di Roma, Marco Berardo Di Stefano, representing the Fattoria Solidale del Circeo and serving as the head of agro-energy for Confagricoltura Lazio, presented the project.
Alongside engineer Luca Rosati, who works under the supervision of Professor Cristina Cornaro from the University of Tor Vergata, they highlighted the crucial role that agrivoltaics can play in merging innovation and sustainability in agriculture through integrating renewable energy.
The presentation, titled Agrivoltaics and Social Agriculture: A Synergy for the Three Pillars of Sustainability, emphasized how the REGACE project provides a concrete solution to the challenges of energy transition in agriculture, through the collaboration between research institutions and local enterprises. During the presentation, there was also a discussion of the World Café organized by Professor Volterrani, which focused on agrivoltaics within the framework of the REGACE project.
