Every jar of honey carries the memory of a place—the flowers that bloomed, the trees that sheltered the bees, the changing seasons, and the quiet work happening every day in nature.
With Stories of the Hive, we invite you to spend a few hours experiencing that story for yourself.
We’ll walk together through the landscape, discover the relationship between bees, trees and the land, visit the hives at Madonnella, and end the morning by tasting a selection of local honeys from Rome and the surrounding area.
The experience is guided by , beekeeper, gardener and nature guide, whose hives have found a home here at Madonnella as part of an ongoing collaboration rooted in care for the landscape and biodiversity.
