Le Chiusure is a farm that produces high quality wines and olive oil, situated in San Felice del Benaco, in the hills of the Valtènesi, a few hundred meters from Lake Garda. “… the country house and the vineyard lie within an old stone wall:
hence the name Le Chiusure…”
Le Chiusure winery is situated in San Felice del Benaco, in the hills of the Valtènesi, a few hundred meters from Lake Garda. We
have been producing wines and extra virgin olive oil with the greatest care and attention for twenty-five years. As well as producing wine and olive oil, we also work on conservation, culture and identity. An old stone wall surrounds the property and protects the privacy of those that choose to spend some time at our place. At the entrance two century-old mulberry trees and a small chapel built in the 1700s introduce you to the courtyard structured in the typical fashion of rural houses around the lake. Our holiday apartments are part of a large seventeenth century rural complex, whose architectural and historic value is protected by Italian law. The apartments, recently restored, have kept the style of the house. From the windows you can enjoy views of the surrounding hills, the garden and the inner courtyard. Our guests have at their disposal a large portion of the garden and a small library of books and photographs describing the lake and the surroundings. Guests are physically close to the vineyards, the cellar and the olive groves. For some years Le Chiusure has organized visits and wine tastings at the farm, the purpose of which is to talk about work in the vineyard and in the cellar and to promote knowledge of the wine of the territory. From April to September, every Tuesday at 6pm, visitors can spend an hour in the winery taking a walk through the vineyard, visiting the wine cellar and tasting the wine and olive oil in the garden with a small buffet.
