**Dievole is one of those extraordinary places in Tuscany where you arrive expecting a beautiful w**ery and discover an entire experience you never want to leave.**

The drive through the rolling Chianti countryside sets the stage perfectly, with vineyards, olive groves, and breathtaking views around every turn. But nothing quite prepares you for the beauty of the estate itself. Dievole feels like a small Tuscan village tucked into the hills, where centuries-old buildings have been lovingly restored into an elegant w**e resort.

The accommodations are absolutely wonderful. Spacious, beautifully decorated rooms combine authentic Tuscan character with modern luxury. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, from the comfortable beds and elegant furnishings to the spectacular views overlooking the vineyards and countryside.

One of our favorite experiences was simply relaxing beside the swimming pools. With two gorgeous pools overlooking the hills, it's almost impossible to imagine a more peaceful setting. Whether enjoying a glass of Chianti Classico, reading a book, or watching the afternoon sunlight drift across the vineyards, it's the kind of place where time seems to stand still.

**The food alone makes Dievole worth visiting.** Breakfast overlooking the countryside is a wonderful way to begin the morning, while dining at the estate's Novecento restaurant is an experience in itself. Beautifully prepared Tuscan dishes, fresh local ingredients, estate-produced olive oil, and exceptional w**es make every meal memorable. The homemade pasta, attentive service, and romantic atmosphere are everything you hope to find in Tuscany.

Of course, staying at a working w**ery means the w**e experience is equally special. Touring the vineyards and cellars, learning about the w**emaking process, and tasting Dievole's Chianti Classico w**es adds another dimension to the stay. It's wonderful to enjoy a glass of w**e while overlooking the very vineyards where those grapes were grown.

What truly makes Dievole exceptional, however, is the hospitality. The staff consistently go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, offering thoughtful recommendations, attentive service, and genuine warmth throughout the stay.

There is something special about visiting Tuscany at any time of year. But arrive when one of its w**e festivals is taking place and the entire experience changes.

The quiet piazzas fill with tables and w**e glasses. W**emakers leave their vineyards and cellars and come into town carrying bottles. Local restaurants move tables outside. Music echoes between medieval stone buildings. Children run through the streets while locals who seem to know everyone stop every few feet for another conversation.

And somewhere nearby, grapes are being harvested.

This is Tuscany when w**e becomes more than something poured into your glass. It becomes part of the celebration happening around you.

Staying at Castello di Meleto was one of those experiences that made us feel like we weren't simply visiting Chianti—we were actually living inside a little piece of its history. Surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills near Gaiole in Chianti, the castle has welcomed visitors for centuries, and spending the night there gave us an entirely different experience than stopping by for a tasting. Its also centrally located with 1 hr of San Gimingnano, Montepulciano, Montalcino, and the rest of Chianti.

The first thing that struck us was the setting. The views across the vineyards are spectacular. We could wander around the historic property in the evening and early morning, when the day visitors were gone and everything became incredibly peaceful.

Our accommodations had exactly the character we wanted from a Tuscan castle—terracotta floors, exposed wooden beams and centuries-old architecture combined with modern comforts. Depending on where you stay, there are rooms within the castle, village accommodations, villas and apartments in the old farmhouses surrounding it. We usually choose a villa over a traditional room. Having a kitchen, courtyard and outdoor seating makes Tuscany feel less like a vacation and more like temporarily living there. There's nothing quite like opening a bottle you purchased that afternoon and enjoying it on your own terrace as the sun sets over the vineyards.

One of my favorite parts of staying here was having time to enjoy the two swimming pools. The infinity pool overlooking the vineyards was especially memorable. After exploring Chianti during the day, coming back and relaxing beside the pool with those views made.

Breakfast was another pleasant surprise within the historic Castel and there's something special about waking up in an ancient castle and beginning the morning there before heading out into the vineyards.

And, of course, you're staying at a working Chianti Classico w**ery. We could tour the castle and historic cellars, learn its story, taste the estate w**es and then simply walk back to our accommodations rather than getting into the car.

What stayed with us most were the quiet moments—waking up surrounded by vineyards, walking through the castle before the day really began, relaxing by the pool and realizing that, for a few days, this incredible place was actually where we were staying.

We came to Castello di Meleto because we wanted to stay at a w**ery in Chianti. We left feeling like we'd stayed in our own Tuscan castle.
