Built high on a hill at 360 metres above sea level, the house affords a view over the Elsa valley as far as the Chianti reliefs, Montagnola senese and Casalone Hill. Oak and cypress woods frame the house on three sides while, on the fourth, an olive grove supplies superb oil for the kitchen gourmet. Ginesters, Arbutus unedo and Erica Scoparia grace the narrow access lane. A small lake protects a colony of Tritons and sightings of Wild boars, Roebucks, Istrix, Foxes, Buzzards are common.
