🍝 Creamy Bacon & Mushroom Pasta (Quick & Comforting)
Simple, creamy, and so satisfying — this bacon and mushroom pasta is perfect for lunch or dinner when you want something warm and delicious without the fuss.
🧄 Ingredients:
80g pasta (any kind you like)
2 slices of bacon 🥓
2–3 button mushrooms, sliced 🍄
1 clove of garlic, chopped
½ a shallot, finely diced
¼ cup heavy cream 🥛
1–4 tbsp pasta water (to loosen the sauce)
Salt & black pepper to taste 🧂
👨🍳 How to Make It:
Boil the pasta until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
In a pan, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
In the same pan, sauté shallots, garlic, and mushrooms in bacon fat until soft and golden.
Add heavy cream and stir in the chopped bacon. Let it simmer gently.
Add pasta and toss to coat. Use pasta water (1 tbsp at a time) to loosen the sauce to your liking.
Season with salt and pepper, and serve immediately! 🤍
🍽️ Pro Tip:
Add grated parmesan or chili flakes for a flavor boost.
Works great with linguine, penne, or even rigatoni.
