Not a whole lot to post about at the moment….but Nick & Aldo will be heading back to Crete in a few weeks, and can’t bloody wait 🙌

The weather still looks fabulous and you can bet your bottom dollar 💵 that they’ll be hitting the raki. Also planning to hit lots of wineries for some content and plenty of wine 🍷

But yes, got a few portfolio tastings coming up in September so all being well we will have some good interviews for you.

It’s “Smash-up Sunday”….and today we’re having a slurp on some Georgian 🇬🇪 tackle, supplied by the absolute geezers

Now Aldo, as you know, is a picky **** and he loves his tannins. He wasn’t initially a fan of this, but after 2 days of “breathing” it’s really opened up and become a beast. Not particularly tannic but it makes up for that with its flavours. Genuinely brilliant and thanks for the folks at CD for selling it to the Old Man 🤣

Also a shout out to & - my best chum bought me a bottle of Georgian 10’s fabulous wine but it was sooooo good we forgot to do a video of it. Apologies.

Anyways shout out to Georgian wine. Exceptional 👌

Two 🆕 Raise Your Glass tastings now ONLINE. Same vibe, 2️⃣ different cities. Greece 🇬🇷 🙌 now this should be an absolute belter, you know how much we love that place and their wine.

1st up - old favourite Love Cheese are hosting us again. Sept 10th @ 6:30

2nd up - Arcane Cocktail Bar Manchester. Yes Nick is bringing it home…think of it as his Ithaca 🤣

Both tastings we will be exploring the world’s most exciting wine region, pottering around the Aegean trying some of their fabulous indigenous varieties.

Sod it - no new “content” at the moment, as we eagerly anticipate wine tasting season 🍷 (not that we’re wishing our summer away of course)

But yes, we’ve got a few tastings in the diary, hosting as well as portfolio exploration. More interviews to come….
