Ah this was a great visit - we had the pleasure of being hosting by at **ery where we tried a whole of w**es (and raki 🥰)

They first met in May, an event where Nick began to realise that Vidiano is becoming the Cretan flagship grape…and here Maria talks to us about their VIDIANO NATURe, and outstanding example. 🇬🇷

Now they don’t export a whole lot to the UK but it would appear that @1905.london stock a couple of their w**es so if you’re local please pop by and get yourself a bottle. The whole range is superb 👌

Shout out to Nikos, avid fan and great w**emaker and also / for the camera work 🎥

A visit next year will be on the cards, as well as the gorgeous beachside town of Plakias….

Our Nick is going to be “performing” 👀 L I V E at the Grand Opera House in York on Thursday 12th November alongside , & The Big Cheese Harry Baines - nattering all things w**e & cheese…and probably some unscripted nonsense as well 🤣, joining the likes of Sir Ian McKellen, Charlie Chaplin and Laurel & Hardy who have stepped on to that stage and no doubt did a better job 🤣🤣

Some shows have an interval ice cream. This one has five w**es and five cheeses, served to you on the actual stage of a 124-year-old theatre. No understudies, no matinee. Just one very grown-up evening of grazing, where the greatest performance of the night is a perfectly ripe wedge of Brie meeting a very good glass of w**e.

Five hand-picked cheeses. Five carefully selected w**es. No awkward small talk about what goes with what. We’ll do the talking, you do the tasting. Expect plenty of theatre from a cast who take cheese seriously and themselves not at all.

Been a while since he’s been on a stage so might need a couple of tequilas on the Green Room rider. Promising to be an amazing night and can’t wait…

The dust has settled on our trip to Crete 🇬🇷🧿, clothes on the dryer and fridge….still empty actually haha! What an amazing trip.

The weather was quite challenging at times, including one of those government high pitch alerts which was a shock when you’ve had a few drinks 🤨 💩

We’ve met some incredible people, w**emakers, hospitality staff, guides, dogs and cats…
