Because style matters, too!
As followers of our newsletter, you are certainly aware of the bustling activity in the Ron Millonario lineup in the last year: we are actively refreshing the looks of our bottles, while retaining the excellent quality of the rums inside the bottles.
The big test for us, once again, was Tokyo Wh**ky & Spirits Competition: you can’t escape the expert eye (and taste) of 300 professional jurors in Yokohama, who conduct blind tastings over multiple weeks, ensuring completely impartial and highly repeatable results year after year. The high level of professionalism and experience involved in the tasting can be seen at the page dedicated to the members of the jury:

We were confident of the extremely high quality of our releases, and rightly so: our Ron Millonario Numero 15 Reserva Especial once again, like in previous editions, won a Gold Medal. Because yes, we completely refreshed the packaging… but the rum inside is, as always, of the highest quality (we actually even improved it, by including a larger amount of very mature casks in the recipe!).
But that’s not the end of the story: the Japanese have always had an exquisite eye for detail, for style, for the sheer beauty of premium packaging. It’s a cultural trait of Japan: the search for extreme quality, matched by the search for beauty and harmony. And this is the reason why Ron Millonario Numero 15 Reserva Especial also received the Best Design Award, presented to items from among the winners of TWSC 2026 that feature outstanding label and bottle design.
We have worked with the best designers to refresh the brand identity of Ron Millonario, to strengthen its visual impact, and to have a bottle that clearly stands on the shelves as a precious object of design, radiating pure class. To have met the style standards of a most demanding jury is for us a reason of great pride.

And once again, our Japanese distributor ePower deserves very special thanks for helping us improve our presence on the local market and submitting our best bottlings for the competition!
