We are pleased to announce the installation of a new advanced system at TRAVERTINO MORELLI F&C Srl, one of the world’s leading companies in travertine quarrying and processing, has launched a new production unit near its headquarters in Guidonia (Rome).

🚀 New Installation: Fraccaroli & Balzan Filter Press FB/1200/88 exp 110 🔧

We are excited to announce that we have just completed the installation IN SWISS of a new Fraccaroli & Balzan filter press, model FB/1200/88 exp 110.

Key Features:

✅ Pre-arrangement for the future installation of 22 additional plates, offering greater operational flexibility.
✅ Automatic operating cycle with pneumatic system for opening/closing plates in multiples of 22.
✅ Hydraulic power unit with gear, 18.5 kW motor power.
✅ Automatic plate shaking system to facilitate dry cakes dropping.
✅ Total filtration volume:
• With 88 plates: 2.35 m³
• With 110 plates: 2.94 m³

Technical Specifications of the Plates:

📏 Size: 1200 x 1200 mm with a 150 mm feed hole.
💪 Material: Polypropylene construction with a maximum operating pressure of up to 16 bar.
⚙️ Filtration chamber thickness: 23 mm.

Additional Details:

Fraccaroli e Balzan S.p.A. proposes dewaterings plants called hashtag suitable for the stone laboratories that process either natural or artificial stone. These plants have the main purpose to supply Customers with a complete, turn-key plant, easy to assemble and to operate. The treatment capacity ranges from 100 l/min to 750 l/min. The plants are fully automatic, they can recover up to 98% of water and they are in compliance with environmental regulation.

Marmi Mario Testi Sas, based in Verona, installs a new FIlter Press Mod. Atlantis FB/1000-15-45.

One of the most important companies in ITALY for and processing, has chosen a new by Fraccaroli e Balzan SpA, which, based on decades of experience, has designed, built and installed a system that represents the state of the art in the sector of wastewater treatment.

Concerning the mud dehydration, the liquid slurry discharged from the decanter is collected into a mud tank and, through a centrifugal pump, goes to the FIlter Press Mod. Atlantis FB/1000-15-45 plates.

The whole plant is fully automatic and all functions and operating parameters are controlled by a PLC.

To sum up, an innovative and pioneering plant, a reference of absolute prestige in addition to thousands more installed all around the world in over fifty years of activity.
