Fifteen years ago, this was a field, twenty sheep, 2,000 hens and a repurposed shipping container.

Somewhere along the way, Paris came to Jersey for a month and never quite made it to Greece. Perhaps there was something in the country air. Our first date involved Laurent delivering a lamb topless in the back of a sheep trailer, Barbara the pet lamb helped with their proposal, and what started as a small farm slowly became the life we built together.

It hasn’t all gone to plan. There were years when the dream of living on the farm felt impossibly far away, and a point when selling up seemed like the sensible option. Instead, an old sheep barn became The Sheepshed, Little Mornings brought families through the gate, flowers followed, and the farm began to feel like the place they had always hoped it might become.

Now, after fifteen years of farming and nearly a decade of dreaming about a home here, Hedgerow House is finally taking shape.

Beyond the hedgerows, down a quiet lane in the heart of Jersey, there's a gate that's open.

Step through it and you'll find a place where sheep graze beyond the hedge and flowers are cut for the table that morning.

Life grows a little differently here. We're proud to share the roots of our story.

It's British Flowers Week 2026!!!
I had big ideas of making loads of content, I also have a big load of work to do and have been preparing for heatwave two... if it arrives.

The flowers have been treated to a spa treatment and have been watered, weeded,fed, planted out, netted and just generally spoilt and it's paying off. The field is throwing out some amazing blooms and I'm so excited to be sending these out to your homes and events this week ❤️
