It's British Flowers Week 2026!!!
I had big ideas of making loads of content, I also have a big load of work to do and have been preparing for heatwave two... if it arrives.

The flowers have been treated to a spa treatment and have been watered, weeded,fed, planted out, netted and just generally spoilt and it's paying off. The field is throwing out some amazing blooms and I'm so excited to be sending these out to your homes and events this week ❤️

This week, we will be exploring our new pirate and princess areas.
I need everyone who is coming back in September to confirm their space and day... thank you to everyone who has messaged me already x

We have a planting activity to do. If you have a lonely outdoor pot that needs planting up, please bring it with you... I do have some spares too.

A little update from us!! Life has got really busy recently and the business has definitely grown!!
We are getting daily enquiries for spaces on our term time play sessions... which is amazing but we are no longer able to keep up. Also desperate to enjoy the last six weeks of our summer term with our current families, many have been coming to us for years now!!

Here is a little information about what we do, days and times. There will be a 50p increase per week from September. Taking our sessions to £11 per week for a 2 hour session.
Sessions are booked as an 11-12 week term only.
All available spaces will go up onto our website www.sheepshedjersey.co.uk to purchase direct in a couple of weeks time, time and date to be confirmed. We are no longer holding a waiting list.
Existing families that wish to roll over their space to September will be asked to confirm next week and pay in full by 26th June to reserve their space.

How is it May already? We need your help! Plant & play returns for May half term.
Farmer Laurent has built 4 new raised beds for all of our pumpkins, squash and courgettes to grow in and now we need to get them planted up!
Farmer Paris has also been looking after all the seedlings you sowed at Easter and has ordered even more!!

As well as our outdoor farm activities, we will have all of our indoor activities on offer too.

Happy Birthday to Farmer Laurent, who turned 40 this week!!
We had a wild west bake off theme. Thank you so much for all of the lovely cards, pictures, cakes, cookies, gifts, and booze!! He has been very spoilt and thank you all for helping us to celebrate!!

Spring on the farm. Blink for a minute, and you will miss those early spring blooms. The seasons fly by in a flash, the tulips and daffodils are just about finished here, and we are waiting for the biennials to flower this week to join the ranunculus.
April is exciting on the farm. The first cornflowers and Orlaya are here. We have just finished lambing, but the pace is fast. Flowers need planting out, potting on, seeds need sowing, and everything needs watering. The weeds grow fast, and fields need fencing.

Take time today to soak up the last blossoms, the green fields, and the spring sounds and smells. It will be summer before we know it ☀️🩷🌸
