Women’s health is about so much more than calories or dieting. 🌼 What we eat plays a huge role in our energy levels, hormone balance, gut health, mood, recovery, and long-term wellbeing, yet women’s nutrition is still often overlooked.

A few things we found especially important while researching for Women’s Health Week:

▫️Iron deficiency is the most common nutritional deficiency in women worldwide and can contribute to fatigue, brain fog and low mood.

▫️A diverse, plant-rich diet helps support the gut microbiome, which also plays a role in hormone regulation.

▫️Many women don’t consume enough protein, despite its importance for muscle maintenance, metabolism, blood sugar balance and healthy ageing.

▫️The gut and brain are closely connected, with gut health increasingly linked to mood and mental wellbeing.

▫️Bone health becomes especially important for women with age, making nutrients like calcium, vitamin D, magnesium and protein essential.

Meet Georgia – Nutrition Manager at Viva 🥗

With a passion for health, food, and fitness from a young age, Georgia always knew nutrition was the perfect path for her. She believes what we eat shapes not just our physical health, but also our energy, mood, and overall wellbeing, something that aligns perfectly with Viva’s mission to make healthy eating simple and enjoyable.

With a BSc in Nutrition, registration with the Association for Nutrition, and experience across public health and the UK food industry, her approach is grounded in evidence and practicality.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her cooking, strength training, walking or reading.

NEW: HBOT Oxygen Memberships 🌀 The first two weeks have been a great start, with many first sessions and lovely feedback already. 🙌

For those who would like to commit to the long-term benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, we’ve now introduced monthly Oxygen Memberships, starting from £45 per session.

You can choose between:
▫️ 1 session per week
▫️ 2 sessions per week
Sessions can be booked flexibly throughout the month, and unused sessions roll over, so everything fits around your schedule.

🧘🏼‍♀️ A great extra:
We are currently the only HBOT provider on the island allowing electronics during sessions, meaning you can work, listen to podcasts, or enjoy a guided meditation while inside the chamber!

Meet Tegan – Commis Chef at Viva 👩‍🍳 Growing up with a dad who’s a brilliant chef, Tegan was surrounded by great food from an early age. But fun fact: she actually spent most of her life as a very picky eater.

Working alongside Miguel in the Viva kitchen changed that. Seeing how thoughtfully ingredients are combined has encouraged her to explore new flavours and discover that healthy food can be bold, creative and genuinely exciting.

When she’s not in the kitchen, you’ll usually find her hanging out with friends or getting creative with arts and crafts.

💚 Current Viva favourites: Cocoa Nutty Pudding & Harissa Heatwave.
