We had the best time at last night supporting and supplying their latest Field to Fork dinner event. Our Jersey-Angus sirloin steak was the star of the meal and head chef did a fabulous job of showcasing its depth of flavour! It was great to have there with us too. Their Jersey Biltong and Jersey Tallow is made using Jersey beef from Woodlands too! Go Jersey! 🇯🇪🥩💪🏼

We are looking for someone to join our meat production team.
Could it be you?
You might already be a butcher. You might work in a kitchen, food production or catering. Or you might simply be practical, good with your hands, confident with a knife and interested in learning a proper trade.

This is a busy, physical job. There are early starts, plenty of lifting, a lot to learn and absolutely no standing around waiting to be told what to do.
We need someone who turns up, gets stuck in, learns quickly and works well with the people around them.

You’ll be helping us prepare meat for our own shop, online orders and trade customers across the Island, while developing your butchery and meat preparation skills along the way.

Some previous experience working with food or using knives would be a real advantage.

Full time: 46 hours per week
Competitive salary depending on skills and experience
Early starts and finish
Based at Woodlands Farm, St. Helier

WE’RE HIRING – RETAIL & CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT

We're looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our busy shop team.

This is a hands-on role covering customer service, till work, answering phones, stock rotation, displays and keeping the shop looking great. (Some minor meat handling but this role is not counter-service!)

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Great with people
• Reliable and organised
• Happy working at pace
• Willing to get stuck in

Retail or food experience is helpful, but attitude and reliability matter more.

🕒 Mon–Thur 8:30am–2:00pm
🕒 Fri & Sat 7:00am–3:00pm

16+ and must have entitled/entitled to work status

🚨 A heads up for our customers 🚨

Our farm yard is being resurfaced, so from tomorrow, vehicle access will be closed for around 1–2 weeks.

The store is open as usual, but all customers will need to park in the top car park and walk down to the butchers via the steps/slope.

We know it’s a bit of a faff, especially after you've managed to find us through all the diversions, so thank you for bearing with us while the work is underway.

It’s all part of improving the farm site and making access easier in the longterm.

🚧 CUSTOMER UPDATE – PLEASE READ 🚧

Due to the ongoing roadworks on La Grande Route de St Jean, there has been an important change to how you leave Woodlands Farm.

👉 When exiting the farm:
The exit (just after The Potato Shack) is now a TWO-WAY, traffic light-controlled lane.
All vehicles MUST use this lane and follow the traffic lights – as shown in our video.

This is the only way to exit the farm safely, so please take your time, drive carefully and follow the system in place.
