National Baking Company Founded in 1952, National Baking Company is a 100% Jamaican-owned bakery. We make breads, buns, crackers, biscuits & snacks under National, HTB & HoMade. ft.

Shop at our outlets or at independent wholesalers & retailers islandwide. The company began in 1952 as a family-owned bread bakery and from its humble beginnings it has expanded to become the top producer of breads, buns, crackers and other baked products in Jamaica. The company operates on a 220,000sq. complex with a fully automated, state-of the-art biscuit and bread plant and many dedicated pro

duction lines. The company employs approximately 800 employees including contract workers, and staff members. National distributes its products island-wide freshly each day. The company also exports a full range of its products to the UK, USA, Canada and other Caribbean Islands. National has completely redefined the standard in the local baking industry by employing large-scale manufacturing, superior distribution and a team of dedicated staff members. National now stands proud as a regional industry giant. For 65 years, National has been led by the heart, soul and hard work of the Hendrickson family, and sustained by the support of its loyal National family of staff and workers. Supporting students as they step into a new school year. 📚✨

The National Baking Company and National Baking Company Foundation recently welcomed representatives from Epping Forest Primary & Infant School, St. Alban’s Primary & Infant School and Bethlehem Primary & Infant School for a special back-to-school handover in support of students affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Through this initiative, students across the three schools received snack packs, stationery and additional support, while a $225,000 contribution was made towards school textbooks.

Devaraine Rowe, a resident of St. Elizabeth, brought this initiative together by establishing the connection between National and the schools, helping to identify where support could make a meaningful difference.
