يعلن مشروع تطوير البستنة في العراق (IHD) المُنَفذ من قبل شركة ECO Consult عن عقد ندوة عبر الإنترنت للحديث عن "الإدارة المتكاملة للآفات" يوم الأربعاء القادم 2022-10- 26من الساعة الثالثة ولغاية الخامسة عصرا ، حيث سيتم شرح مبادئ الإدارة المتكاملة للآفات ومميزاتها وأساليبها (الميكانيكية والحيوية والكيميائية) بالاضافة الى الحشرات الرئيسية في البيوت الزراعية وطرق معالجتها حيويا وكيميائيا ،وستكون الندوة باللغة العربية.

We were very delighted last Thursday to host HE Harry Verweij, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Jordan and the Embassy delegation at two of our distinctive farms in the Jordan Valley. Our partnership in the Netherlands supported project; Hydroponics Agriculture and Employment Development (HAED-Jo) could exhibit today how introduced sustainable solutions empower farmers to harvest maximized results allowing them to expand their business models. This is demonstrated at Mohammad Abu Sido and Hisham Al Taji farms with producing improved quality while decreasing agriculture inputs. The visit also included the Mohammad Abu Sido postharvest facility where technologies are introduced to safeguard that consumers receive clean & fresh produce.

سعدنا للغاية يوم الخميس الماضي باستضافة سعادة سفير مملكة هولندا لدى الأردن هاري فيروي ووفد السفارة في مزرعتين من مزارعنا المميزة في وادي الأردن. أظهرت شراكتنا في مشروع الدعم الهولندي ؛ مشروع تطوير الزراعة المائية وتوفير فرص العمل في الأردن (HAED-JO) كيف تمكّنت الحلول المستدامة المقدمة المزارعين من حصاد النتائج القصوى التي تسمح لهم بتوسيع نماذج أعمالهم. يتضح ذلك في مزارع محمد أبو سيدو وهشام التاجي مع تحسين الجودة وتقليل المدخلات الزراعية. تضمنت الزيارة أيضًا منشأة محمد أبو سيدو لما بعد الحصاد (مركز التعبئة والتغليف) حيث تم إدخال التقنيات لضمان حصول المستهلكين على منتجات نظيفة وطازجة.

Food safety and innovative agriculture practices is one of the top priorities of the Royal agenda. Repercussions of climate change brings forth the need to create a self-sufficient Jordan and enabled farmers who can respond to emerging needs. This was demonstrated through the visit of HM King Abdullah II to the Jordan valley yesterday. We are very proud that two of HM stops were at partner farmers to ECO Consult and lead actors in the ongoing HAED-Jo launched in 2017. This pioneer project implemented by ECO Consult and supported by the Netherlands Government was able to demonstrate that through introducing modern technologies, knowledge and training Jordanian farmers can compete with high quality produce in international markets. مقتطفات من اليوم الثاني من زيارة تبادل المعرفة التي نظمها مشروع تنمية البستنة في العراق إلى مزرعة أبو سيدو في منطقة وادي الأردن. تعرف أعضاء الوفد العراقي على مشاريع زراعية حديثة مختارة، بما في ذلك البيوت البلاستيكية متعددة الأقواس.
تم تنظيم الزيارة التي استمرت خمسة أيام متتالية بالتنسيق مع مشروع تطوير الزراعة المائية وتوفير فرص عمل في الأردن (HAED-Jo)، والذي تنفذه أيضًا ECO Consult وبتمويل من حكومة مملكة هولندا. حيث استهدفت الزيارة وفداً لممثلين من القطاعين العام والخاص والأكاديمي لتسليط الضوء على المشاريع والتقنيات المختلفة والناجحة المستخدمة في برنامج HAED.
Highlights from the second day of the Knowledge exchange visit organized by the Iraq Horticulture Development Program (IHD) to Abu Sido farm in the Jordan Valley. The Iraqi representatives learned about selected modern agricultural projects including multi-span greenhouses.
The five-day visit for representatives from the public, private and academic sectors, was organized in coordination with The Jordan Hydroponics Agriculture and Employment Development Project (HAED-Jo), which is also implemented by ECO Consult and funded by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The visit highlighted the different projects and technologies used in the successful HAED program.

انهينا اليوم ندوتنا التعليمية الثانية عبر الانترنت عن كيفية إدارة الري في الزراعة المائية حيث تمكنا من استضافة ما مجموعه 97 مشاركًا في الندوتين. نحن فخورون بهذه المشاركة النشطة للحضور الذين كانوا حريصين على التعلم وتطوير معارفهم. نتطلع إلى ندوة الكترونية مجانية أخرى عبر الانترنت حول موضوع آخر في الأسابيع المقبلة.

Today we concluded our second webinar on Irrigation Management in Hydroponics where we were able to reach a total of 97 participants in both sessions. We are proud of our active attendees who were eager to learn and develop their knowledge.We look forward to hosting another webinar on a different topic in the upcoming weeks.

تشرفت اليوم بمقابلة سمو ولي العهد الحسين بن عبدالله مع مجموعة من شباب وشابات الرمثا ومناقشة اهم التحديات التي يواجهها لواء الرمثا من بطالة وفقر وأثر جائحة كورونا على المنطقة حيث تم تقديم مجموعة مقترحات تساهم في التمكين الاقتصادي للشباب في لواء الرمثا وتوفير فرص عمل
ومناقشة موضوع أهمية وجود مركز تدريب مهني خاص للواء الرمثا ومحاولة توجيه الدعم لمستحقيه وتم التطرق لبعض المشاريع الزراعية الحديثة كالزراعة المائية وبدون تربة (كمشروع تطوير الزراعة في الأردن وتوفير فرص العمل ) الذي تقدمه مؤسسة ايكو كونسلت EcoConsult كدعم للمؤسسات العاملة في الزراعة والمزراعين وتقدم هذه المشاريع كمنح بدون مقابل لتطوير الزراعة في المنطقة وهو من المشاريع الريادية الحديثة في منطقة الرمثا وكافة مناطق الأردن تقدم من خلاله مؤسسة ايكو كونسلت خدمات مجانية عن طريق كادر مختص من مهندسين واستشاريين في مجال الزراعة المائية والدعم التقني لهذه المشاريع ..
وحيث تم مناقشة الأثر السلبي لجائحة كورونا على المشاريع الخاصة بالجمعيات والمؤسسات العاملة في القطاع الاجتماعي والشبابي في اللواء.

Yesterday, HAED-Jo teamed up with the Make Horticultural Knowledge Work project, funded by Nuffic and partly implemented by ECO Consult to visit pioneers in the seeds industry and a strawberry farmer. At Syngenta (CPD Knowledge Centre) we had the opportunity to learn on the company’s strategy in achieving resilience and sustainability in agriculture. Breeding and production of seed varieties adapting to different climatic conditions were the focus of our discussion at Bakker Brothers. Finally, Mr. Yacoub Miguel, Basateen Al Ordon farm, shared his 30 year expertise in growing strawberries in both soil and hydroponic farming.
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone for sharing their knowledge and expertise!

قام فريق HAED-Jo يوم أمس بالانضمام مع فريق Make Horticulture Knowledge Work الممول من Nuffic والمنفذ جزئياً من قبل ECO Consult لزيارة رواد صناعة البذور الزراعية وزيارة مزرعة فراولة. حيث أتيحت لنا الفرصة في Syngenta الى التعرف على استراتيجية الشركة في الوصول الى أهدافها في ايجاد الحلول المبتكرة في الاستدامة. أما محور نقاشنا في شركة Bakker Brothers فتركزت على طرق انتاج البذور الملائمة لمختلف الظروف البيئية في المنطقة لا سيما في ظل ظروف التغير المناخي. وكانت أخر محطتنا هي التعرف على خبرات السيد يعقوب ميجيل, مزارع بساتين الأردن على مدى ثلاثون عاماً في زراعة محصول الفراولة في الزراعة المائية وفي التربة.

Yesterday, HAED-Jo welcomed 11 motivated female students at the Hussein Technical University following training at Methods for Irrigation and Agriculture (MIRRA) in cooperation with Saharah Forest Project. To showcase our work in introducing farming innovations we chose our partner; Al Kheir Farm, in Baqa’a. Hydroponic leafy crop production in raft system is an example on increasing quality and yield while decreasing water consumption. We toured trainees in the different sections of the farm starting at the four greenhouses and an explanation of the existing technologies supporting the irrigation network through a fertigation unit.
استقبل مشروع تطوير الزراعة المائية أمس مجموعة من طالبات جامعة الحسين التقنية وعددهم 11 والمشاركات في البرنامج التدريبي مع مؤسسة ميرا لانظمة الري والزراعة بالتعاون مع Sahara Forest Project, وذلك بهدف التعريف عن مشاريعنا في ادخال الابتكارات الزراعية. ولقد اخترنا مزرعة الخير في البقعة لعرض الانجازات في انتاج المحاصيل الورقية. حيث يعتبر إنتاج المحاصيل الورقية المائية في نظام الأحواض Raft System مثالاً على زيادة الجودة والمحصول مع تقليل استهلاك المياه.تجولنا مع المتدربات في أقسام المزرعة المختلفة بدءًا من البيوت البلاستيكية الأربعة وشرحنا التقنيات الداعمة لشبكة الري من خلال وحدة التسميد.

We are continuing in building more bridges of collaboration with ongoing interventions in different parts of the country. This week we are proud to sign a MOU with the Sahara Forest Project, hosted by Mrs. Tone Allers, Norwegian Ambassador to Jordan. HAED-Jo will continue to introduce innovations and modern farming techniques enhancing youth capacities to meet labor market needs.

ونستمر في بناء المزيد من جسور التعاون مع المشاريع الهادفة التي تشارك في رفع سوية القطاع الزراعي في مختلف مناطق الأردن.ونفخر أننا قمنا هذا الأسبوع بتوقيع مذكرة تفاهم مع مشروع صحارى بروجكت حيث كنّا في استضافة السيدة تونا الرز، سفيرة النرويج في الاْردن وسنواصل جهودنا مع جميع شركاء HAED-Jo في التدريب على الابتكارات وتقنيات الزراعة الحديثة التي تعزز قدرات الشباب لتلبية احتياجات سوق العمل.
