Bon o Bon, โA full-flavored story" In 1984, Fulvio Pagani decided to introduce a chocolate candy capable of luring Argentinians. They worked on the premise of making it attractive, tempting and essentially affordable by all. That is how Bon o Bon was created. From the very beginning it was clear that Bon o Bon would not be just another product on the market. Bon o Bon would make history and also transform Arcor's history. Bon o Bon gave rise to a new category, a chocolate thought of for impulsive consumption, adapted to the demands of massive distribution and sold individually. It is a product for adults and children; to give others and oneself; a great product, coming from a great plant, produced with great technology. Bon o Bon has always been produced using the best carefully selected raw material. Located in a strategic province because of its dairy farms and its important peanut production, the Colonia Caroya plant that opened in 1994 had a two-fold meaning: for Arcor, it entailed the strategic decision of definitively leading the Argentine chocolate market with production lines prepared to supply all segments and, for Bon o Bon, the possibility of tripling its production capacity, moving outwards to the world and extending its field of action to other chocolate categories. Bon o Bon is present on all special dates with some sort of particular significance for the public at large. The Week of Sweetness, for instance, has had Bon o Bon as the pioneer developer of this event. From Easter to Christmas, going through St. Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, Bon o Bon is present on all those occasions which entail a demonstration of love, affection and the need to share.
