Learning in action: Emining FCS visits Mumberes FCS! (Peer to peer learning)

We strongly believe at Bamscos Cooperative Union that growth occurs when we learn and grow together. Today we were given the great opportunity to support our precious member co-ops, Emining FCS in a benchmarking visit. 📈🌱

This was an inspiring event where cooperative leaders and members shared valuable knowledge, best practices and gained practical experience from each other. There's a lot of power in peer to peer mentoring; when people see cooperatives helping each other operate stronger, manage better and serve their members, that's what the cooperative movement is all about.

We are very dedicated to creating opportunities for such transformative learning to achieve the success of all our cooperates. We're creating a resilient ag network together! 🌍✨

Empowering Our Communities: Investing in the Future of Our Member Cooperatives! It's not only about creating market opportunities at Bamscos Cooperative Union, but about creating strong communities of people who can be self-reliant, who can be prosperous. We are very dedicated to developing our capacity continuously and implementing training to all our cooperative members for their essential needs. This dedication was on display yesterday when we were able to successfully hold a comprehensive Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) training in Mumberes! 📈💰 We were privileged to welcome a group of amazing women who were taught key financial literacy, group dynamics, savings management and income generating skills. Women's empowerment is an integral part of sustainable development. These tools will help to make their individual households stronger, as well as help to strengthen the backbone of the entire region's cooperative structure. 💪✨ We feel that if we are able to educate one, we are able to educate many. We are growing together and together we are strong! 🌱 The following are some of the training programs we are currently conducting in Baringo County and stay tuned for more updates here in the future.
